This is brilliant. The price point is good. Saw it recommended by a doctor on a YT channel (no affiliate links). Better than our last scales. The digits are nice and big/easy to read. Gives you lots of good health info. Highly recommend it.

While this scale is well-built and very reliable for tracking daily weight trends, the body fat percentage feature has some natural limitations depending on your daily habits. ​I tracked my metrics closely and noticed a massive shift after changing my hydration routine. My initial readings were relatively stable: 36.5% on January 31, 2026, and 35.3% on February 28, 2026. However, after I started consistently drinking 2 liters of water per day, the app recorded two abrupt, artificial drops. By March 31, my body fat reading plummeted to 24.4%, and by April 21, it fell to 21.2%. ​To verify this, I had a clinical DXA scan performed on that exact day in April, which measured my actual total body fat at 32.8%. ​This discrepancy happens because of how Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA) works. The scale uses a small electrical current to measure tissue. Since water conducts electricity easily while fat resists it, the algorithm interpreted my improved hydration as a sudden, massive increase in muscle mass. This skewed the body fat percentage by over 11% and artificially inflated the basal metabolic rate (BMR) estimate.

It is super informational and works as described. It was easy to setup and connected to the app immediately. This was an upgrade to my older version from the same company. No regrets on this purchase to get a better understanding of how my body works.
