I found that it works extremely well. **Q: Can i use this with a sony ax53 camcorder?** A: I shoot this for Semi-Pro Football and it is a workhorse........ **Q: Can lynca e6 grip be used with neck strap attached @ top of grip?** A: Sort of, you can make it work I added another clip **Q: Can you remove the quick release plate as I already have one?** A: I haven't tried that, but looks like you can unbuckle the straps and then disassemble it. Then just re-assemble it without the quick release plate. I put it at the smallest size and it was still a lot of room for a hand. Didnt fit tight. The strap is really hard and it makes it uncomfortable to wear for long time. I use it on a Canon 77d with a battery pack. It does require some effort to adjust the straps for proper location and fit. The pad behind the hand is very firm new and does require time and effort to break it in to conform to your hand. This is definitely for medium to larger DSLRs not recommend for smaller cameras at all.
