Dependable and affordable with minimal flaws, I would purchase again
These shoes are pretty good, and I have no distinct complaints.Everyone in the reviews debated whether you should size up or size down, and I would really like to address this. It depends on how you would like your shoe to fit! Since it is an open toed, non-thong sandal, you have room to go either a bit up in size or a bit down in size. I am a size 7 in in shoes, and the size seven fit me perfectly well, if I had gotten a 6 and a half it would have still fit, and the same goes for a seven and a half. If you like your sandal to be a bit small goes down half a size, and if you like it a little large go up half a size. I don't really see this not fitting if you stay within range or size.I have relatively narrow feet and they fit well. Only the strap on the front of the sandal around the ankle is actually adjustable, and even though that was a bit tedious it is not that big of a deal. The main reason that this lost a star in my opinion, is because the fabric at the bottom of the shoe seems to feel a bit damp when your feet sweat in them. The feeling is kind of gross, but again not unbearable.Another thing is the arch support is really minimal, this is good for low to medium arches. It works for me, and for someone with a little bit of a lower arch it would be the prefect amount.Aside from that I really like these shoes! I had a hard time finding reliable shoes that were not frumpy and these did the trick. They are sturdy and I see them lasting a few summers. I certainly wouldn't recommend them for water play because I imagine them being difficult to dry in a reasonable amount of time.I would purchase them again.

very soft and comfortable. But i haven't touched the water yet
The pad is softer then tirra. And i thought it will be very old fashion, i was going to sell it before i receive them, but i changed my mind when i try them on, very soft and comfortable. But i haven't touched the water yet, so i have no idea what will it happen after getting wet. Very good shoe.

Not satisfied with this shoe
I had a pair of Tevas for about a decade that looked similar. I loved them, but they needed an upgrade since they were old and worn. I found these Tevas that whose picture and description seemed similar. However, they are not comfortable in the least bit, and they are definitely not the same quality as my last pair of Tevas. My last pair had thick sturdy suede straps. These are pleather and very thin. I have average to narrow feet and consistently wear a size 8.. I bought these in a size 8M and they were much too wide. The front strap also is placed much higher up the foot, closer to the arch, rather than across the knuckles like the last pair that I had. I tightened the straps as far as the strap would allow and as I walked, my foot slid out the front of the sandal. I bought these for summer hiking, but there is no way that I could use them. Also, the straps are thin and the shoe seems much more cheaply made in comparisons to the last pair of Tevas that I had. On a good note, the material used for the sole is extremely comfortable and sturdy. I just wish the same quality went into making the upper part of the shoe. I suppose if you have a wider foot and never owned a pair a Tevas before to compare these to, you may possibly be content with this pair of sandals.

Great Casual Sandal, fit my wide foot
I bought these for Maui and didn't wear them before getting here, but I've been really pleased. I have large, wide feet and often find sandals not explicitly sized wide width can be uncomfortable, unless I order men's. I wear a size 10.5 women's wide in running shoes and wear orthotics, and I ordered these in a 10.5 regular width. They fit fine, without my feet hanging over the sides and they have enough arch support that I haven't missed my orthotics. The straps incorporate a stretchy material in the composition and are tightened with velcro. No blisters to report after a couple of days of sightseeing, including a crater. They seem indestructible.

Very happy customer.
This was my 8th purchase of Teva sandals, over about a 10 year period. I can walk all day in them. Plenty of support in my opinion, and the styles I have chosen all had several adjustable points to customize to your foot shape and size. Regarding the size they seem to run close to one half of a size large. I bought 8 1/2 for the first 7 pairs, and kept feeling they were just a tiny bit long. Finally I bought an 8 and it does fit a bit better. Then I saw a link on the Teva sight that was to help with sizing for online purchasing.I submitted a couple of different shoe size options. For example, I put in that I normally wear a size 9.It recommended that I buy an 81/2. Each size I submitted came back with a half size smaller recommendation. I'm very happy with this company and their shoes.
