Impressed. The paper is strongly attached to the sponge and it lasts well under push pressure. Absolutely beats a folded bit of sandpaper and sore fingers. Used around pipes and also to sand more intricate wooden surfaces. Only downside what the size of the box when delivered as it was larger than expected, but hey, more sandpaper that I thought. It's going to last a which and be used for many things

After years of using wet & dry paper, i decided to give these pads a try. I've been surprised at how good they are and how long they last. Being flexible foam pads, they are great for sanding all sorts of shapes around the house (in my case skirtings, architraves etc) but beware, because as they're double sided with abrasive, they can leave you with very sore finger tips if doing a lot of sanding! I use them with a bucket of slightly soapy water and keep a little brush in the bucket to clean the abrasive faces occasionally as they seem to clog easily when sanding household paints. Because of my sore fingers and the clogging of the abrasive face, I'm only giving a four star rating but despite this, I will certainly be buying more in the future!

Just right ,for my needs

Have used these for sanding quarter round up the stairs so needed something flexible. They are a good size, and not too thick so they are just flexible enough. They would ideal for sanding staircase spindles as they are wide enough. I got the 180 grits as that's what I mostly use, but if you get the variety pack you would have every grit you need for smaller jobs.
