The Apprentice Talking Donald Trump Doll

Very well made doll! Well detailed! I have seen some 'not so good reviews' about this Trump doll on here saying that it didn't work ... I just wanted to address those reviews ... If you purchase this doll, first be aware that the batteries ARE NOT PRE INSTALLED - They attach the batteries to the inside container for you to install once he arrives to you .. Also, if you put the batteries in properly and he is still not talking, use a long flat oblect (pointy knife/metal nail file and gently move the metal battery tabs inside of the doll out a bit so that they are making better contact with the batteries (I had to do this) once this is done and you re-install the batteries, the doll works/talks perfectly! I am super happy with mine! I have him sitting next to y Trump bobblehead and concidering purchasing another just to keep in the box and put away! The price is a steal!!!

The clothing is made very well. The doll is as shown. I have not put batteries in it yet.

I ordered 2 of these now and neither one worked. It’s supposed to be a talking doll and it doesn’t talk. Both times I replaced the batteries and still nothing. Complete garbage. The amount of gas I’ve wasted returning this twice isn’t worth it.

Cool doll, but the shirt is attached to the tie, so u cant remove it without cut, the head do not slide to the sides, at least I couldnt do it, and he have no foot, the shoe can not be removed, the quality of his clothes are very nice, he have some articulations, the voice is awesome, the sentences it says is also super cool. The quality overall is not very good, but still fine in my opinion.

This was a huge hit, so I ordered two more (while they're available). The sound is very clear and loud enough to be heard. The quality is good. The head doesn't look as small 'in real life' as it does in the photos. He has brown hair, not blond, but hey, it's The Donald, so who can complain? Very funny statements. This is old and as another reviewer pointed out, the batteries were worn out in the second ones I ordered. However, it's easy to take out the old batteries (don't remove the coat or shirt, just unbutton things) with the directions provided on a white slip of paper inside the box. All three were new, not used as some individuals commented. I got Energizer LR44 1.5V batteries (same as in the doll) on Amazon Prime - a 20-pack is only $7.30, much lower than in the store. Type in LR44 and you get lots of choices. I also got the Kim Jung Un mask, which was also a big hit at the Memorial Day bash, but the Donald rules!

The doll looks and feels well made. The quality of the voice is poor after placing the batteries. Maybe the batteries were old and that's why the sound quality was bad. You practically have to remove his shirt and blazer just to put in the batteries. I recommend the doll itself as a collection but forget about hearing the voice. Giving it 3 stars because of the disappointment in the voice/batteries.

It came with 6 batteries. It only required 3 batteries. 3 of the six worked. The other 3 did not. I had to pry the batter prongs out to make better contact because it would not speak. Once I did that it worked. I also had to wipe some corrosion off of the prongs before I replaced the batteries. Once it was clean it spoke like a charm. The clothes and the box and package was in mint condition.considering it is 21 Years old. That was really no big deal what I did to get it up and running great.
