Safe & easy to use and clean
I dig this!!! Made my cucumber slicing a lot faster! I did have to pick out the wonky/small slices to get the astatic I was looking for jarred pickles. Used it for my potatoes too & loved it.

This is a very handy, efficient and affordable kitchen gadget that everyone should have! So useful, for so many foods and recipes. I plan to use this mandolin to slice and dry onions, potatoes and fruit for pantry storage and later use in recipes like soups and stews. The quality of this mandolin is truly impressive and the uniformity of the food slices is just super nice!

Easy to use mandolin and safer for this klutz.
I think it is easy to use and am comfortable using it. I had a different kind and I cut myself badly when I felt a little faint. You will need to get a small piece out of the blade area every now and then, but they provide a tool to do this. Use it! That blade is sharp.

Check functions when opting for a diffrent color.
Wanted not just a slicer. I found out that when I chose a different color it turned out to be a model, I had unboxed and thrown the box only to go to use and found it only had one function to slice with no other function.
