As 50 approaches, I need to use these more often than I care to admit. While there are higher quality readers out there with better components and that are more stylish, you will also be paying more for them. If you want a bulk pack of readers that you can stash in multiple places for private use and that you won’t cry if you sit on them, this is the pack. The frames are a bit large for the average face. Not quite that annoying Martha person from the Medicare commercials large, but you’re not going to want to wear these strutting down the runway with a $10,000 dress. The lenses are clear and durable and while I can’t prove it one way or another, I question the blue light blocking, if only because I can’t see it as obviously as I can with my more expensive pair of computer glasses. They made smaller text crisp and sharp and I was quite pleased with them. The hinges are fairly tight to open and close, but I am hoping that becomes easier over time and with some use. I really like that they give you a double ended microscrewdriver, cleaning cloth and bag. I can’t speak to the accuracy of the magnification, I can only say that I ordered 2.0x and compared to a 1.5x pair that I have, they seem very similar and perhaps a little better. All that being said, for about $4 a pair, they will serve you well for the intended purpose.

I love the variety of colors! I have a pair to match every outfit. I can never find a pair of readers, so now I can leave a pair in every room!!!

These glasses work really well with my contacts. I thought I'd need another prescription sooner but using these will keep me until it's time to visit the optometrist again. I'm pretty hard on glasses and sunglasses but these are durable and have really sturdy hinges. The price is great for the product you receive.

For us older folks life can stink. Like when you can’t read labels or menus, or your cell phone or the little card reader at the supermarket. Sheesh. Decent readers/cheaters are a necessity. I am vain enough that I still put in contacts every morning but they just don’t cut it up close. These cheaters I got in the 2.0 strength. Perfect for me. The lenses are very clear and the glasses don’t slide down my nose. Only concern is that they are big glasses so if you like to wear your reading glasses a lot you may find it more difficult to look over the top of them.
