This is a much cheaper alternative to Paperlike. It really transformed the experience of drawing on an Ipad for me. It provides the subtle friction and the sound that makes the experience exactly like drawing on paper. It's a good bargain. I have had for more than a year now and it still feels great to work on. Would definitely recommend to everyone, especially for artists planning to use the Ipad for drawing.

This is very bad quality.. Screen card. Its not a Matte glass....... Very baaddd...

It is durable ,easy to install,not for every one (I got my protector installed by mobile phones shopkeeper) , have anti-glare effect ,but in the beginning you will see ‘grainy’ screen till you get use too it .

Hey guys this is a genuine review,this is the best product in case of anti glare, writing experience,...but that is not more important than display quality...ihave attached a photo showing how poor the display quality is , after applying the product, I get annoyed with the product,and frequency of using the iPad gets decreased after applying this protector, so guys the glossy tempered glass is way beter than this protector.....but if you don't care about disply quality then go for it...... ........still can't decide.....then my opinion is not to buy this product.....

Grainy texture affects display quality badly

It's a good product if you are buying for its paper-like feel and anti-glare property but the matte texture makes the screen very grainy and compromises the HD resolution. I started having a very hard time while coloring and detailing my artworks as the grainy screen makes it impossible to color finely which is totally a deal-breaker for me. If you are an artist, I am pretty sure you will regret buying it.

I bought this screen protector after my bad experience with the paperlike screen protector. not only was the paperlike protector hard to install and overpriced, but it came right off when putting my ipad back into my ZUGU case and the texture felt way too rough for my tastes. This screen protector was 1/3 of the price, fit with my case and completely solved all of my problems that i originally had with the paperlike protector. The provided rubber bands that you can use to line up the protector with the screen were really helpful, and installation was easy and caused no air bubbles at all after using the hot steam trick and using the dust collector stickers. As for the texture, I am a digital illustrator, and wanted a protector that would feel similar to the texture of drawing on a wacom cintiq. I was very pleased with how drawing feels with this protector on; it gives it just enough grit to give better drawing control but it’s not too rough. I would say that the biggest deal breaker is that you do get granulation/rainbowing of the screen, but this is unfortunately the case with all matte screen protectors. I personally don’t think it’s that big of an issue though, and I can still work with colors just fine. The texture and anti glare that you get with the matte screen more than makes up for it in my opinion. However, If maintaining the clarity of the screen is important to you, i would instead get a glass protector or not get a protector at all.

What everybody else said: this was the most complex screen protector application I've had to do yet, but it slid on beautifully in the end. I had to lift it a few times since the plastic curled up weirdly under the sticker when I was applying it, but I see no issues with it after application. Doing it in a steamy bathroom definitely helps. I have been holding out because of the colour quality, and you will definitely see a change. There is a noticeable grain on the screen (also seems to be a little more dim), but it is like that with all matte protectors. However, for me, the trade off is worthwhile: it makes drawing so much nicer and really feels (and sounds!) like paper. I have been drawing on a glass screen protector for a while so this was a huge improvement! I don't think the protector will affect my colouring too much, you can get used to it.

Ni es marca iCarez, ni viene en caja con su marca, sino que es un sin marca con una pegatina hecha con una impresora donde pone ICarez, pero no lo es. Además, se anuncia como mate, cuando es cristal templado y nada de mate, sino que marcas las huellas. Devuelto de inmediato.

iCarez makes the best matte protector for the iPad Pro. It has the best combination of clarity, hardness, and texture that you want for heavy pen usage. There are brands that definitely have better clarity, but they give up texture or durability. The iCarez protector isn't parchment paper thin like many cheaper covers, which means it's easy to apply but also resilient to pen usage. This means the edges don't get micro creases or dents when you apply it. Dust and bubbles don't create permanent marks either. Luckily it's not thick enough to cause noticeable parallax like a tempered glass protector would. Another benefit that most people don't mention is the texture on your fingertips. It feels really nice to touch! Not too grippy and feels like smooth woven paper. Drawing on it doesn't give that same sensation since the Apple Pencil nib is plastic, but it controls better than on plain glass. While this is the best protector I've found so far with a matte finish, it's not for non-pencil users. Throwing away improved texture and durability means you're giving up clarity for nothing. Where iCarez has issues is with the included tools and packaging. The included card to remove bubbles is weak and flimsy. Otherwise, I would say I would prefer a finer texture and presumably smaller rainbow speckles, but that is wishful thinking rather than reviewing the product at hand.

El producto está muy bien, pero si lo consideras un protector tipo cristal, porque se describe como un producto mate y no lo es, al contrario. Me gusta como protector de cristal, pero no es lo que pedí.
