There is no light to indicate if it's ON or functioning . As it has a third Earthing pin and Japan doesn't use an earthing pin , I had to plug it in to an adaptor plug . Is it working or not ? Additionally, you would go blind anytime you were anywhere near it, as light and heat also both, you guessed it, electromagnetic radiation. So I took a leap and got this, as an EMf sensitive mom. My son got a desktop computer and I just felt nausous and anxious sitting next to him using it.
