Pocket Brush Pen 1/Pkg-Black

Couldn't give it anything less than 5star. This product is amazing! Only thing is that it is expensive when bought from India. Another problem that I faced is that once the two cartridges you get with this are over, (which was the case with me within the first week of extensive use) you can't find it anywhere online from India. So I tried to refill the cartridge. First I tried the Rotring Isograph black ink. It almost ended up ruining the tip. Now I'm working with Lamy black ink for fountain pen. Although this ink is extremely black and opaque with fountain pens, I'm not getting the same result with this. The flow is smooth and consistent but the output is not dark enough and of course it's not waterproof. This is not a major problem for me as I treat my illustrations in photoshop and increase the black levels. Now I bought a bottle of Daler-Rowney Kandahar Drawing Ink, and will try it next once this cartridge requires a refill. I'll update this review with the result.

Nice ink but refill are a bit expensive. I would recommend you to buy pilot ink or pelikan black ink. But remember to dry the pelikan ink or pilot ink for one or two days for the ink to evaporate and let it sit open for one or two days. Also clean the brush pen in a mild shampoo or soapy water . Just the brush pen.

This pen is one the best artist tools I have used. I use it for line work and with proper technique, it can make really fine lines and really broad strokes. The bristles are unlike most brush pens which makes it glide like a charm on paper. The ink is supposedly water resistant but I have yet to test that. Anyways the ink is super dark, opaque and rich. The pen is slightly heavier than a normal brush pen, weighs like a fountain pen. The cartridges can be refilled with ink (just check some y*utube videos for this easy diy). A must have in every artist's arsenal. The only drawback is that the price is quite steep.

this is the best pocket brush for inking. you cant go wrong here. dont buy too expensive ones and try this one. been using it a lot and it is still working great after more than half a year. the ink flows smoothly and gives a nice texture to drawings.

It's the best piece of art material I have ever bought. It glides and make perfect marks and the texture of the ink is so good!!!

This pen comes empty you have to put a refill in immediately. It's not like buying a pen from Tesco lol. This pen came with 4 refills (nice) others (same brand) only come with 2 for the same price so make sure you check. The pen gives lines of different thickness depending on pressure and angle so it's quite versatile. It doesn't bleed through decent paper, even very thin paper there's not much to see. Lots of fun mark making, looking forward to using this a lot. I haven't noticed any spray or blots and it works nicely over my coloured alcohol markers. It's lovely for just doodling or serious work, smooth and easy to use.

Superb pen that gives quality strokes to artwork, calligraphy, just plain writing. I am delighted! Dries quickly, lasts long, no leaking at all. A professional artist introduced me to this. What a godsend. Readers pay attention to what I write. Great!

Precisione, modulabilità e resistenza del brush ottimi.

Muy bueno , se desliza suave , con práctica, se pueden hacer grandes cosas. Yo dibujo directo, sin boceto ni lápiz. No lo he usado aún para repasar lápiz, entintada. Mi estilo es muy rápido, es decir puede ser más preciso , con más tiempo y práctica( que tampoco tengo tanta,...3, 4 , 5 ejercicios ..no sé exactamente. !)
