These Max-protection, dark orange lenses are the right blue-blocking lenses!! Back in the nineties there were television ads for "Blu-blockers" sunglasses. I bought a couple of pairs and loved them. The lenses really did block blue light, which is very helpful for preventing eye-strain. Then they went away and I couldn't find them anymore. Update: They are still available but are still plastic frames and cost $50. Bleah. I have tried may others and they work a little, but not as well as original blu-blockers. Then I got these and they are bang on! If you suffer from eye-strain, especially if you work on computer screens all day long, then get you some of these with the max-protection. They are really really good. It will take you a couple of days to get used to them but push on through and wear them all day if you can. Your sleep will be better and your headaches will subside. If people ask why you're wearing sunglasses inside, they are NOT SUNGLASSES! They block blue light and help your eyes relax. I bought the metal frame versions and they are very high quality. I am going to buy another pair to keep in my car, and also buy two of the lighter "night vision" versions for night driving. After years of trying to find good blue-blocking glasses, I am thrilled to have found these! I'm not sure about the red lenses. I think that'd drive me crazy but I might try a pair for watching television before bed. it's very important to limit your exposure to blue light for a couple of hours before you go to sleep.

The carrying case is nicely structured and ideal for holding the glasses when not worn. Their value is amazing; I've gotten quite a few compliments from coworkers and have potentially made some future customers. I really enjoy the tinting because its just the right amount to block the blue light but not make it difficult to do actual work. They are lightweight, but have a solid feel to them so they don't just fly away.

I've had bad headaches from Digital Eye Strain/tension headaches, because I work on a computer all day and pretty much go home and sit on a computer. My doctor advised me to try Blue Light glasses and see if it helps. Bought this pair thinking they'd look good and that it was nice that it's didn't have a heavy amber tint. Well I guess the picture didn't really represent the tint of the glasses as the one I got have a heavy amber tint. The glasses themselves did work and provide Headache relief almost instantly but it will give you a different kind of headache and heavy eyes until your brain adjusts to them. I'm 1 week in wearing them all day and I'm finally getting over that part. They are solid and sturdy but my gosh do they squeeze your head, and I don't have a big head. After 2-3 hours you can feel them squeezing hard above your hears. The resting part on the nose is nice, comfortable and don't leave marks on your nose

I've noticed after wearing these glasses while on my computer for long periods of time my eyes don't really hurt. They are high quality and the hinges move far and don't break. They are black and the perfect size for me, staying on my face perfectly.
