I've been looking a side tables for about 6 months. My other tables are black & I have a dark cherry tv stand w/ built in fireplace. I thought this table would be a bit darker than it is; but, I'm keeping it anyway. I thought I'd have to put it together from start to finish. Nope. I opened it & realized that I needed my husband to help me lift it out of the box because it was pretty much all put together. I removed the remaining packing material from around the table as it is very well wrapped. There is a shelf & brackets to insert inside the table to hold the shelf located under the table. I simply removed them from underneath the table, placed the brackets in the table compartment (there are 3 shelf heights to choose from), plugged in the cord, & I was done. The table looks great, all the outlets & charging plugs work great, the height is perfect, & it fits nicely between 2 rocker recliners in a space with limited room. My one complaint is that there was a bit of chipping on the finish on the base right in front of the door. I happen to own some furniture markers; so, I was able to give it a 5 second touch up that no one will ever notice. The box did come damaged & had tape on a few places that the shipping company put on. The table was so well packed that none of the damage to the box caused any damage to the table. I also love the price. I'd been looking at this on Amazon & other online retailers regularly hoping to see a price reduction and Amazon came through. I was able to buy this for $115.00 which is a phenomenal price. My local well known furniture store wanted about $300 for similar tables. One online retailer known for good pricing was offering this same table for $179.00. So, I am thrilled with my purchase. My family room looks finished now that I no longer have a tray table between my recliners. It wasn't a good look. Anyway, if you are looking for this type of table, I highly recommend this. It's a very well built table. It's a bit heavy so it won't get knocked or out of place accidentally. Love the magazine rack on the back. I can put my remote control caddy inside the compartment with plenty of room for other items and fit a full box of tissues on the shelf in the same compartment. I leave a phone cable plugged in & my husband & I charge our phones & tablets with no hassle. I leave a lamp plugged in & currently have my laptop plugged in. I always had to run an extention cord before so I could plug in multiple items. I didn't think much of it until I got this table. It's made plugging things in so much more convenient. I hope my review helps you make your decision. I didn't include photos as they really wouldn't look any different than the seller's photos. What they show you is definitely what you get.

An excellent piece of furniture that can be used or moved anywhere needed. ! Amazon is the very very best ! High quality merchandise always!!! Never ever expect otherwise. 🏆

So, my husband camps out in his La Z Boy with everything in the world plugged in by his side. Power recliner, phone, tablet, heated blanket, earphones x2...there's more I'm sure and we have but a very small space to put a side table. This piece from Ashley did the trick. It comes completely assembled. It's HEAVY and solidly built. The outlets in the top compartment help keep some of his chargers and power cords under control. There is plenty of room in the back section to put the surge protector for all his other stuff. Because there are so many wires it's a little ugly back there. I purchased a very small tension curtain rod and valance to cover it all up. It's not perfect, but it's better than looking at all the wires since the back of the cabinet faces the dining room. They cabinet has a surprising amount of storage. It's deep, so things could easily get lost and jumbled so I ordered a set of organizers that work perfect. The 1-star deduction is for the useless drawer. It's supposed to be a drink holder, but it fails miserably for that. The recessed area is maybe 1/4 inch deep. More something to cause drink spillage than safe keeping. On the positive, as you can see from my photos the problem is easily remedied. Take the drawer out, move the glides on the drawer from top to bottom and put a back on it. Viola! A cute little drawer that holds remotes and any other random little thing. I'm sure I'll eventually fill and paint the holes on either side, but I'm not worried about it for now, you only see them when it's open.

We saw this table in an Ashley Furniture store but they would not offer a reduction in price, plus we would have to pay a delivery fee. I truly do not condone shopping for items in brick and mortar stores and then ordering the product on-line, but in this case we saved $150 on two tables delivered to our front door for not extra charge. It would have taken our furniture store two weeks to get the tables to us, it took three days to have them delivered to our front door by ordering them from a third party seller through Amazon. Like others have posted, these tables came to us incredibly well packaged. Our tables did not have any damages, blemishes, or power strip problems. Some reviewers complain that the cup holders are not deep enough. I believe they are designed to be more of a coaster than a holder. I for one am glad they are not deeper or I would not be able to put a coffee mug with a handle on them. The remote control holder is the same, it's a coaster not a place for storage. Other tables we looked at just had a pull out shelf, we would have had to use coasters to protect the wood finish from the cups. One design feature that is used are the telescopic pull out slides on each side of the shelf. These allow the shelf to come out further with greater stability for drink cups that the typical nylon roller slides cannot provide. Yes, this makes it harder to remove the shelf for those who have a need to do this, but it assures the shelf cannot be accidentally pulled out of it's cabinet and keeps the shelf flat with almost not wobbling. I am amazed that there are reviewers that still think the inside shelf and its hardware did not come with this table even though other reviewers keep saying to look under the table. The shelf and hardware are strapped to the bottom of the table to protect it during shipment, just tip the table over and you will see the shelf strapped to the bottom with the hardware in a red plastic bag stapled to the table. This is a great little table. It's heavy and sturdy. Has a nice finish and works flawlessly. I would definitely but this table again.

We already have one of the larger Tyler Creek coffee tables, so when we needed an end table for the couch, this was an easy choice. It matches perfectly and looks great in our family room. It was about $30 cheaper than buying the exact same table at our local furniture store, and it arrived fully assembled. It’s very sturdy, doesn’t wobble at all. The packaging was impressive. It was probably some of the best furniture packaging I’ve seen. (Exciting stuff! 😝) Everything was protected well, no scratches or dings. I would have deducted half a star if possible. The hinges on the underside of the piece that lifts to access the outlets were rusty. Thankfully they’re on the back and can’t be seen during normal use, so I’m keeping it; it’s not worth packing up, taking it to return and ordering/unpacking/setting up again. It was disappointing to see that on a brand-new piece of furniture. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase and would definitely buy it again. (We actually did buy 2 and the hinges were fine on the other.) If you’re looking for a sturdy, attractive end table with built-in outlets, USB ports, and hidden pull-out cup holders, this is a great option.

We saw the same table at a furniture store and they wanted a $349 for it. We liked it because it was very well-made and had some pretty nice features. Took a picture of it came home looked it up on Amazon and got it for 190 dollars. It came very well packaged with no damage. If you need a small table, we would recommend it. It came completely assembled. The hardest part was getting all the packaging off that kept it from getting damaged.

These beautiful tables solved so many cord clutter issues for us. The perfect size for smaller living spaces. They came fully built -- just unbox and set up. The pull out cup tray is so convenient, the storage for blankets, books, etc is perfect, love that it has usb and electrical outlets built right in with a cover to hide them from view. Sturdy and well built. All in all, very pleased with this purchase.

I’m truly impressed by the quality of the product. For 5 minutes, I too thought they had forgotten the shelf but I found it strapped securely underneath the table along with the pins. I recommend this end table in a heartbeat. Best furniture purchase in a long time.

This piece is highly recommended. The table shows well with an overall good finish. The pull out drawer with drink holders will come in handy. Where this piece shines is the hidden top bay with electrical power source and USB connection. There was a fault in the manufacture of the drawer. The wood was coming apart in a hidden area. I liked the piece so much I put on some glue and it is perfect now.

This is a lovely side table that is well constructed, sturdy and best of all we didn’t have to assemble it!
