Gardena 1874-U Water Computer C 2030 Duo Plus

I really liked this product. It is easy to use and works as desired. The fact that you can take the front part away and program it anywhere you want and then put it back is very convenient.

once programmed it worked flawlessly; very good quality

Works very well. One problem is that it does not come with a cover.My older Gardena water timer has one. The California sun turn the screen black. I have had to fabricate a cover.

I bought that item in mid July and it started acting up in end August already, the opening of the valves was unreliable but it took me a while to realize this, weather was not so hot by that time. Then sometimes it would open, sometimes not, always same water pressure and my previous (cheap) computer lasted 2 years before I decided to upgrade for two independent valves. There is a soft clicking sound when the time is up for watering, it shows the watering symbol blinking - but no water comes out, neither valve, at first manual opening worked for a few days, then that was dead too. The most annoying thing: Gardena offers 2 years warranty but Amazon takes it back only the first 30 days?!? I send an email to Gardena through there website (contact only through Gardena Canada possible), no reply so far since two or three weeks. Send another message today, not sure what to do. Overall so far very bad experience - and I have a lot from their micro drip system and am very happy with these non-electric parts. Update: Before I forget, Gardena Canada had replied and would honor the guarantee but I would have to have paid the shipping and shipping this thing safely to Canada ... You got to be kidding me, that costs a lot of money.

Si tratta dell'ennesimo acquisto di questo prodotto che ritengo veramente molto valido per quanto riguarda l'affidabilità e la praticità. Unico limite il fatto di non poter gestire più programmi per ogni singolo canale come avviene sul 1060, che però ha una sola uscita.

Purchased in the winter and not used until summer so Amazon would not take it back - it pours out water so it has been totally unusable .I have had no way to communicate directly with Gardena except through a third party that Amazon set me up with and who had been totally useless to communicate with. I will absolutely boycott Gardena despite liking many of their products. I am also considering not using Amazon anymore because they sold it to me. It was an expensive product and I expected it to work well.

After my last cheap water timer failed,thought it was time to go upmarket to see if it could last, and ,so far ,it has! Easy to program, the actual front face detaches, so can be done at a table,for instance, also has a security bracket available,but would suggest a cuboard if possible .If space is tight ,do check the size as it quite deep,but seems to be much better quality all round.

Ho ordinato il nuovo modello C2030 a EUR 107,82 invece del modello precedente "Multicontro Duo" che e' venduto da Amazon a EUR 89.47. Indovinate? Mi e' arrivato il modello vecchio al prezzo del nuovo. Da rimandare subito indietro.
