Nice and comfortable
Sound is very good at the price of 3k using it for practising guitar with katana go and valeton gp200 Light weight and comfortable to wear for longer time.

Competent budget performer.
I wasn't expecting much from these, just a bit of late-night TV so I wouldn't disturb neighbors. They are outperforming their price by quite a bit. I'm not very much into headphones, this is my fifth unit and it's pretty solid for the price. The fit is comfortable, it's very light and the pressure on the ears is almost perfect. My ears do not touch the diffuser plate, so that's a relief. However they do press down on the stems of my spectacles, which makes sharp vision a bit of an issue when I use both together. As to the sound, it is heavily dependent on the upstream equipment. With a Topping DX3 Pro or a Fiio M3, it sounds fantastic, almost perfect balance with a slight lisp that serves as a highlight rather than a hindrance. With a MOTU M2 there is a slight lift through the midrange, which is very good for monitoring. With a Behringer UMC22, it is terrible - there's a lot of harshness through the upper mids and it needs to be EQ'ed a lot. The M50X, which I also own, doesn't have so much sensitivity, while still being revealing of the source. This is unfortunate, as I was hoping to use the AKGs with the UMC22 as a long-term partner. Oh well. Like the Superlux 668B, the right side gets signal through the headband but unlike it, these use an actual wire to connect the two ends instead of the headband itself. This means the wire is really thin and prone to breakage. I've not had a failure yet, but I don't use it more than a few hours a week. That might be an issue, or not. We'll see. There's actually very little I can complain about at this price, and that's saying a lot. I've never really been happy with budget headphones, so these break new ground. They perform respectably while not in the same league as the M50X or the MSR7B, and can happily give the HD280 a run for their money. I would handily recommend it both for casual use and entry-level monitoring work, just be sure to give it the right source.

Excellent headphones for music
Reviewing after more than a year of use: (5 stars for sound / 4 stars for build quality) AKG is an Austrian company, now owned by Harman International of the famous harman/kardon brand of hi-fi equipment and JBL. If you're looking for a good pair of budget headphones for an Immersive listening experience, the K92 is perfect. They may not be the best looking ones, but the metal frame makes them quite sturdy, while most expensive brands are made completely of plastic. I bought these headphones purely for listening to music via my computer. The ear cups of my previous (decent) AKG K52s had become scruffy so I wanted to change and after scouting several hi-fi audio websites, decided to upgrade to the K92 which had good recommendations as opposed to the K72. The headphones deliver crisp, clear sound with no or minimal distortion (depending on your audio source or file). They have have a good audio frequency bandwidth (16 - 22000 Hz) which provides a wide dynamic range which means you get bold bass and clear treble. The low impedence of 32 ohms means that the headphones can be driven easily at low volume by a computer sound card without the need for an additional amplifier. A 40 mm driver delivers good bass which is not too punchy, but just right since these are studio monitoring headphones. On the downside, I am already noticing slight wear on the earcups (which I believe are replaceable). Overall, for the price, the AKG 92 is a steal. If you're into classical music, jazz, easy or popular music, I'd recommend these highly. Go for them without a doubt. Pros: * 40 mm driver delivers good low bass frequencies (not too punchy) * Low impedence (32 ohms) gives clear sound at low volume * Audio frequency bandwidth: 16 - 22000 Hz gives bold bass, good midtone and clear treble (very good for the price) * Earcups fit well (tightly) over the ears providing passive noise cancelling (not active) * Very enjoyable for classical music, jazz, popular and general listening * Fairly decent build quality (metal frame as opposed to full plastic) Cons: * Earcups degrade after a year of use * As with any over ear headphones, your ears become hot after prolonged use (should not be a problem in cold weather or an air-conditioned environment) * None otherwise

Overall all products review
Worth every penny. Sound quality is great, very durable and heavy duty material, only for home use not that much travel friendly cause of the long cable but overall a great product

Akg K92
After using the AKG K92 for more than 10 days, I noticed one issue. When I touch the metal support rods on the headband with my forearm, I feel a slight electrical shock. I'm not sure why this happens. I tested it with both my laptop and my mobile phone, and I noticed the same issue in both cases. Apart from that, the overall product is good. If you're looking for strong bass or a punchy sound, I'd recommend choosing a different pair of headphones, as the AKG K92 has very little bass. However, the overall sound quality is clear and balanced, making it good for music listening and monitoring. The build quality is decent, but it could have been better.

Good but Audiotechnica ATH M20x is better
Overall a decent product I'm reviewing this after using my Audiotechnica ATH M20x and ATH was way better. Spend little more and buy ATH. And why's that ? Comfort is good but ear is not round in the shape and hence feel bit awkward initially. Ear cup Cushioning isn't that great. But head clamping, headband support was surprisingly good! Sound is something I didn't expected at this price really good flat sound. It's studio headphones so it's a no for bass heads. But honestly ATH has better rich sound. Always let headphones to settle by playing some different genre songs for some 3 hours after unboxing. Durability is something where ATH blows it and there is no comparison. K92 is plastic earcup which is fine at this price but the two metal strips that connects earpiece isn't supported by plastic covering or anything. And hence the durability is questionable. If you can use it with care the sound at this price is unbeatable. Comfort is good as well no ear heating but surely not for very long sessions. If you can buy audiotechnica ath M20x then I would say spend 1500 more bucks and get better build and sound.

Akg K92 Profissional Studio
Testei com o Kind of Blue (1959) do Miles Davis, o We Like It Here (2014), do Snarky Puppy e o Ma Fleur (2007), do The Cinematic Orchestra. Satisfeito! :)
