I’ve been using this 4K pocket cam, and it has exceeded my expectations for such a small device. The 4K video quality is clear and detailed in good lighting, and it does a respectable job indoors and in the evening as well. What really stands out is the external microphone, which captures audio much more clearly than most mini body cameras I’ve tried. Voices come through crisp, even when the camera is clipped to clothing or a backpack. The compact, lightweight design makes it easy to carry all day without feeling bulky or uncomfortable. I especially like the 270° rotating camera, which makes it simple to adjust the angle for biking, walking, or chest-mounted recording without constantly repositioning the device. Setup was quick and straightforward, and having a 64GB memory card included is a big convenience since it’s ready to use right out of the box. Battery life has been solid for extended outings, and transferring files to a computer is easy. While low-light performance could be a bit better and it takes some practice to frame shots since there’s no screen, these are minor trade-offs considering the size and price. Overall, this is a reliable, versatile body camera that works well for outdoor sports, travel, personal safety, or professional use. I’m very satisfied with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a discreet and capable 4K body cam.

I recently purchased the 4K Body Camera with External Microphone (ZOMFOM Pocket Cam), and unfortunately, my experience has been very disappointing. 📸 4K on Paper, Not in Reality Although it advertises real 4K recording with a Sony sensor, the actual video quality is extremely poor. The footage looks soft, noisy, and far from what you’d expect even from an entry-level action or pocket camera. Calling this “4K” feels very misleading in real-world use. 🎥 Image Stabilization That Barely Helps The built-in electronic stabilization doesn’t do much to improve shaky footage. Even light movement results in unstable, unpleasant video, making it unreliable for biking, walking, or any action-related use. 🎙️ External Microphone – Nice Idea, Weak Execution Including an external lavalier mic sounds great in theory, but the audio quality doesn’t live up to expectations. The sound feels compressed and inconsistent, which defeats the purpose of having an external mic in the first place. 🔄 270° Rotating Lens – Gimmick at Best The manually rotating lens is an interesting concept, but it feels more like a gimmick than a useful feature. The mechanism doesn’t feel solid, and it doesn’t compensate for the poor image quality. 📱 WiFi App & Usability Issues The WiFi transfer feature via the XDV PRO app works, but it’s clunky and unreliable. Pairing and transferring files is slower than expected and doesn’t improve the overall experience. 🔋 Battery Life Is Just Okay Battery life is around 1.5–2 hours, which is acceptable, and recording while charging is supported. Sadly, this is one of the very few positives here. 💬 Final Verdict To be completely honest, I’d rather record with a rock than rely on this camera. With all due respect, this feels like a very cheap imitation of pocket cameras we already know—without delivering usable results. If you’re willing to risk the money just to test it yourself, go ahead. But I strongly recommend saving a bit more and investing in a product you’ll actually enjoy using. Rating: ⭐☆☆☆☆ (1/5) Not recommended. Save your money and look elsewhere.

The unit is smaller than I expected and the internal mic is garbage. Don't expect to get any usable sound without the external lavalier mic. I haven't tried the external yet so idk how it sounds. Video quality is decent. Maybe I need to mess with some settings but it was still really dark and the stabilization wasn't nearly strong enough for walking around. Battery life is good. Lasted about 2 hours of constant use. SD card it comes with is 64GB, with about 6 hours of recording space. The screen is really nice, but it goes idle and black every 30 seconds or so, which is frustrating if you're trying to use it as a viewfinder to see where you're aiming the camera. You can press the buttons to turn the screen back on, but every button press is so loud that the internal microphone picks it up and drowns out any other noises. Same with the zoom buttons. Don't zoom unless you like loud clicks in your audio track. Overall it's fine, but I don't think it's worth the price. Haven't decided if I'll return it or not, because it is simple and lightweight, just not as high quality as I had hoped.
