Wilton Decorator Preferred Cake Decorating Tool Caddy

I really love my tool caddy! It’s very large and fits almost everything I need to decorate cakes. It is very easy to clean, durable and sturdy. I like that there are different compartments and a special area for piping tips. I wish that it came with some small, removable dividers though, as right now I need to keep my small piping accessories in separate ziploc bags or little containers to keep them separate. The price is also too high. I found it for almost 1/2 the price at Target (at its regular price, meaning it wasn’t on sale), but it was too late to return it.

I like that this keeps tips upright and easy to grab. I store the box on its side to save on storage space, and when I pull the box out the tips are always upright. What I do not like is the case is ridiculously difficult to open, it's a real struggle. Also, there is a groove around the inside edge at the bottom. I’m working with frosting here, and it gets everywhere. The picture I shared shows yellow frosting stuck in that groove (bottom left and right corners). The only way to thoroughly clean this is to dump all the tips out, clean the case, then put them back in one by one (yes I like things organized, it’s an organizer…). And as long as I’m making wishes, I wish there were a way to number the nubs, so that when I have to put all my tips back it would go faster. That said, this is the best product for tip storage out there, and I would never for a minute think to buy or recommend any other brand.

I am so please with this organizer because it holds 52 tips plus has a section in back for my larger tips. I have acquired so many decorating tips over 45 years and was using 2 smaller cases I'd had since the 90s and it was just inconvenient. This case is well made and feels like it will be very durable and will serve my needs for years. The lid locks down on two sides to keep all tips in place. Even if you turn the case upside down the tips stay in place. This was the perfect case for my needs.

Pricey but worth it! This was great for holding all the tips I got in a set when I started baking cakes for different events. Plenty of room for additional tips as I get them. Ease to use and remove the top. Great for new bakers that don’t have a lot to store and is a heavy duty plastic that’s easy to wipe off.

this held a ton of stuff from all my brushes and implements to my smaller tips couplers bags spray glitter.. absolutely hangs of items got organized. Now I have space in my cabinets and don't have to search through all the little boxes I had before. That said: the sort of domed top should be more domed to allow space for larger tips to be stored vertically. I have several large Wilton tips as well as the Russian ones. It seems like Wilton would try to accommodate their own tips at least. But it's attractive, neatened everything up, and I would think it would be highly giftable. I would have enjoyed getting it as a gift. I think this is superior to the larger one that has drawers that can fall out. I probably could even use two of these, but I decided to keep my food coloring in smaller plastic bins. I'm unsure of the sturdiness. I will probably support the bottom when I lift it with the handle. Slides into my cabinet and looks nice and I'm able to lift out and separate the sections and I'm just stunned by how much it holds. It is very much like some of the plastic organizers that stack, but I didn't want clear, and it does have particular cubby holes for specific things. I do think the price could be less. I had rewards to use so that's why I went ahead with the purchase. But I think, given what it's made of and the way that it closes with the snaps on the ends, I think it should cost about 40% less than what Wilton has set the price to. But I'm still happy that I bought it and I do recommend it. I feel very organized.

Our family bakes Christmas cookies together each year, and we have collected several items over the years. Finally purchased this to hold everything together and it is perfect!!

I have a lot of decorating tips. I purchased 2 of these because I liked them so much. It would be nice if Wilton made larger ones that would hold all of my tips but these are nice. The top lid secures very well, a bit too well, sometimes as the locked lid is difficult to remove on one of them. But you can see by the picture that there is a place to store nails, or other misc items in the tip storage container. I also wish that it was taller so that I could store my larger tips in it as well, but these are only for the smaller tips, so you can't store the larger ones in it.

I bought one of these and it's almost full, so I'm going to order another. It holds 20 Wilton gel/paste canisters of either half oz. or one ounce size. If you push the half ounce jars down snugly, they will hold in their places. They won't spill out if the box is tuned up side down or sideways. The lid snaps on as long as you don't try to snap it on when the lid is on incorrectly. With the toothpic section at the top, place the lid so that the word "Wilton" is also at the top. In other words, thinking of the left side as "West" and the right side as "East", the toothpic section would be in the "North" position, and then the lid should be placed on top of the box so that the word "Wilton" is right side up. Then it snaps shut every time.The lid won't fit if you try to put it on upside down or sideways.Also, it can only hold 20 gel/paste jars.You can fit a one ounce jar into one of the spaces, but you can't stack two half-ounce jars into one space. The box isn't tall enough for that. I like being able to see each jar lid without having to handle each jar looking for a specific color like I would have to do if I just threw everytthing into a "zip lock bag"!

Bought this caddy for my daughter as she has started cake decorating and needed something to put all her tools and bits and bobs in. I searched high and low for something that was really suitable to accommodate everything and found very little in the UK. Its seems like all the nice cake decorating caddies were in the USA, Wilton being the all singing all dancing selection. I did consider the ultimate caddy and was about to buy it and changed my mind at the last minute. I thought the smaller one was adequate for what it was intended for. When It came we were delighted, its made very well and does what it says on the box so to speak. They have modified it so the lid sits under the whole thing for space saving. Everyone in my daughters cake class love it and all been asking where she got it from. I just hope she said my wonderful mother spent hours scouring the internet to get met this. Its not cheap but in the end you get what you pay for. The other options was a D.I.Y box which could never be compared to this, and would never have the perfect sized sections etc. 10/10

Bon produit, pratique pour le rangement, les douilles sont bloqués une fois le couvercle fermé. Par contre, rangement que pour petite douille. Les grandes douilles ou ongles pour les fleurs impossible de les ranger.

Fue para un regalo y quedó encantado. Caben muchas cosas y tienes diferentes separadores para organizarlo a tu antojo. Muy útil y con un estilo bonito.
