Best at this price point
Reduces the wrist pain which is there with regular mouse. Accurate but needs cleaning once a week. * After about two months of usage, now it feels very smooth initially I was not too happy. It's expensive but worth it. Very comfortable for large hands( I have large hands). I use without restpad which did not suit me. The bearings are tiny and made of plastic so not sure about durability. Scoll wheel is better than any mouse scrolls. Large and grippy. It gives you amazing feel due to large size. Scroll wheel is not excellent due to POOR quality bearings but much better than tiny scroll wheel on mouse. Left and RIght buttons are again large and tactile need getting used to. They are meant to slightly hard otherwise there could be false clicks by mistake. No complaints here. Using the downloaded Kensignton tool, I have made dual click as 'drag' and it is very very helpful. ***** giving it 5 stars as it is the best product in this range and nothing else comes close in spite of it's shortcomings. Most other trackballs have smaller balls which is not what a trackball should have. Scroll ring is unmatched too in spite of it's flaws. This trackball is highly recommended for day to day use as well as for work like video editing, CAD drawing, etc.

Great trackball with a fantastic scroll wheel and good value for money.
I love this product. The hardware is smooth and easy to use. The trackball is simple, responsive and easy to get used to. The button placement is just right for medium and large hands. And it should work well for small hands too. The ball is easy to remove and clean. Unlike a mouse the device doesn't need much room. It doesn't move physically on the table. One of the best things about the product is the scroll wheel. It has a superb feel and can be configured to move through pages fast and smoothly. This is a big step up from a regular mouse. The software Kensington provides is a little limited but does the job. There are many ways to configure the buttons though which I really like. This was my first trackball and I was initially a little skeptical about whether I'd get used to it but it didn't take me more than a couple of days. And I mostly won't go back to using a regular mouse again because of how responsive and smooth the trackball is. There are other products in the market and some may be good but this trackball is one of the best value purchases I've made for ergonomics and I'll happily recommend it. Caveats - don't expect to use this for gaming. It is great for productivity, art, coding and spreadsheets. It also has only two buttons which may be limiting for some. It works perfectly fine for me though

It's Good 😊
Overall the product is Good, but it is not easy to use, I'm using it mostly for CAD but sometimes get frustrated maybe it will take more time to get perfect on it. One pros is, it's a perfect show stopper, Every one wanna love to see, use and talk about it.

Best investment
This is the best range of trackball mouse. Highly recommended for anyone who has to use a mouse for an extended amount of time. Will save you from long term wrist pain. Especially appreciate the service team. They will address all your concerns in a highly professional manner.

Almost the best pointing device I've ever used.
I've been having issues with the wrist for quite some time, due to mouse usage. Alternating between both hands and the use of a track pad has helped initially, but the problem has returned after a brief hiatus. That's when I started looking for track balls. I wanted the Expert Mouse, but it was a bit too expensive, and hence decided to settle for the Orbit with Scroll Ring. It's a week since I've started using them and my wrists have been pretty much stress free. The ball movement is smooth and measured, and it's easy to get used to, even if you're new to track balls. Of all the scrolling mechanisms I've encountered, the scroll ring is the most functional and natural way to scroll. Coming to brickbats, the wrist rest should have been better designed. The current one that comes with it is functional, but it would have been sweet if it was a bit more padded at the wrist position for better ergonomics. Also, the buttons are a bit clicky, but it's more of a personal preference than a brickbat. I like non-clicky soft buttons better. Overall, it's a great product, especially when compared with the other options in the market at this price range.

Very Mid Quality, Bad Ball-Skates
Need to clean the ball skates everyday which are just cheap red led-like plastics. no teflon, no proper ball skates. very cheap product at 4.3k price tag is, well, i regret buying this thing. also clicks feel cheap like Rs.250 Mouse or Mice. the rest of the product is fine. UPDATE: used for 1 month, left click is already failing.

Excellent trackball
Excellent product. I really like the trackball which is silky smooth. I also like the scroll ring and it works perfectly fine. For first couple of days, it requires some getting used to, but overall a good product. I was worried if I should switch back to a cabled mouse, but since there is no movement- this is fine. Also, it reduces the need of the batteries. My hands are fairly large and it works very well. I did not require the extension support that is supplied.

Not worth price.
I have bought 4 of these. Left button of every mouse dies after a year of use. I have used this mouse for office work only. Not happy with overall quality of kensington, also I can see similar issue in 2 other mice also. Mouse is not worth it for the price you are paying.

Figure out drag and drop and you're good to go. Works out of the box for Ubuntu 15.04
Solved my problem. New laptop, touchpad was interfering with typing. I bought an optical mouse at Microcenter. Made the mistake of buying a cheap mouse. I went there specifically thinking trackball but came back with a cheap optical mouse. Decided to go with this device because it's well rated. Ordered it. Received within a few days with standard shipping. Plugged it in using Ubuntu 15.04 no problem. I did not anticipate the adjustment required for drag and drop. I'm left handed. After switching the buttons I can click and hold my primary mouse button, drag and drop, no prob. I did spend some time looking for an app to provide click to drag because system mouse settings do not provide it. I found that switching the mouse buttons makes it easy to hold down the primary button and drag back and forth, up and down to my heart's content then release the button when I get to where I want to be. I actually like drag and drop with the trackball more than the mouse now that I've used it a bit because with a mouse you're still holding the mouse when you release the button which can incur additional unintended movement. With the trackball, once you lift your finger off the ball the cursor stays put. The scrollring is awesome. With a 13" laptop there are concessions with the keyboard that required a function key to scroll with the keyboard. The cheap optical mouse had a scrollwheel which was tedious to use. The scrollring on the trackball is precise, zippy and easy to use. I was thinking I might be missing something with two buttons instead of three but a third button to paste doesn't matter. With my setup I can select text with the trackball, release my primary button, click again and drag to a new location while holding the button, release to paste text at the cursor location. Most likely drag and drop 101 but I'm very pleased. I decided on the wired trackball because any device, wireless or not, will occupy a usb port. My conclusion is, can't beat it for the money. Great value. Does everything I need it to straight out of the box. I hope my review saves someone else who may be moving over to a trackball some of the time I put into looking for click lock to drag solutions. You don't need 'em. Just configure the device so you can comfortably hold your primary button while articulating the ball. 9/7/2015 Update. I bought my trackball used. After using it for awhile I noticed that it would sometimes catch inside its cradle causing the cursor to jump. The ball had a small scratch in the plastic. Using a fingernail emery board I smoothed it out then polished with metal polish. Now it's perfect.

Very comfortable.
They say these things have a learning curve, but that's nonsense. It's instantly a massive improvement over using the mouse. Much more comfortable, much more accurate.

Practical and comfortable
Great to use for both hands. Very useful wheel to scroll The removable Little wrist extension ramp means there is no need to use extra padding and supports the wrist
