I recently tried this 12-piece sanding sponge set, and it’s a versatile addition for DIY and repair projects. The set includes coarse, medium, fine, and superfine pads, making it suitable for metal, wood, walls, cars, and furniture. They work well both wet and dry, and the sponge backing makes them easier to grip and control than traditional sandpaper. My only minor critique is that the sponges wear down relatively quickly on tougher surfaces, but for light to medium sanding tasks, they’re convenient and effective.

This is a fine sanding sponge, great for finishing irregularly shaped (non-flat) surfaces, as well as flat. I finish a lot of curved surfaces, objects turned on a wood-turning lathe, and these work well for sanding on and off the lathe. I've yet to wash and dry one of these, to determine how long the abrasive lasts, but that test will come. These appear to be competitively priced. I noticed others in the same price range, but they only had abrasive on one side, something possibly desirable for rough grits. The 400 grit is so smooth, it's unlikely to abrade your palm or fingers, should that be a concern. I like this, and feel comfortable recommending ti.
