So far, it has reliably recorded about 15 records/cds. It's fairly simple to do, although maybe more difficult for novices. It seems fairly sturdy, it's small, records from many different sources, has a decent sound output, etc. It also doesn't take long to set up. Plus, it did not work. The AM/FM radio had good sound through both speakers. However, the turntable, CD player and cassette player did not play through both channels and did not respond to the volume control. So you get poor, muffled sound out of one stereo speaker and silence out of the other. If all you want is a radio, go for it. But if you want a way to play your CDs and cassettes, as I did, this is not the answer.
