3M AP420 Large Scale Prevention System

This cartridge is of the same quality as was in the original filter. Would Highly recommend to anybody who has 3M whole house filter AP141T.

Is this right price? When the whole unit itself below 14k, a replacement cartridge costs 32k?

Usually after replacing cadridge we would have frothy water for 2 days. But that is Missing in this.

This price is wrong. How can cartridge price be 32k if the complete casing with filter is 14k?

These filters works great and do not flavor the water at all. They remove the rust and dirt from our town water and last for about six months. These can be cleaned and reused, but for the price, we just replace them with a new filter. We have tried many brands and types, but none come close to these.

Installed in April 2015. When the original 3M filter looked dirty we tried a “generic” filter with disastrous results - the housing would not seal and water poured out of the top of the filter housing. Reinstalled the dirty filter until we could get the genuine filter ordered and delivered. 3M says six months is the average filter life and that may be so if it’s used for the whole house. Ours is used only to remove the scale & sediment that would otherwise go into the tankless electric water heater. These filters last us anywhere from 12 months to 18 months depending on the quality of the water that our city provides. YMMV. Our faucet screens used to fill up with tiny white calcium deposits but now that almost never happens. The showerheads also stay cleaner for a long time. Not cheap but neither is replacing the water heater. Highly recommend.

After finding gravel in our facet screens we had this filter installed. No more gravel, less hard water deposits and the water tastes fine. The biggest thing is to watch the filter and change it when it gets dirty. We'll worth the invesment.

AS a aqua-pur faithful I am disappointed with this product. It is a lot smaller than the original ,and it really does not reduce rust as advertise. The original filter was much better,
