    Good Book and Interesting Read

This combines market, technology, and management. The case studies are old but very interesting offering a glimpse at potential to disrupt and progress society and its markets. Good inventions don't always win among competition. Sometimes timing isn't right or forces which are difficult to understand send plans astray. This book deals with this using analytical approaches and lessons taken from history. The mindset and challenges dealt to stakeholders through their journeys and checkpoints often leaving destinations to further research or evolution. As expected from a book with the word management it can start to levitate on abstract terms which sometimes leave the reader with the responsibility of applying practical traction but the case studies do a good job of pulling it back down to earth.

This book offers a good insight of concepts and examples through case studies for those studying IT on college or Master Degree.You will see a good approach of the concepts by clear explanations and then review a case study that will show the uses of those concepts.It has good cases from Cisco, EA Games and many more.

In my opinion the book is full of examples with technical jargon and it is extremely dry and tiring to read. I think the concepts could be illustrated in a better simplified way. The cases are good, but the reading is too heavy and honestly in my opinion it is boring. I have read books full of great real cases that express the ideas and concepts better in plain english and in a more concise way.I am sorry to say that I do not recommend this book at all, unless you have hours (days, months) to read it and you have the patience to go over a bunch of technical jargon and irrelevant information on cases that can be simplified considerably to get to the point to support a concept.Regards
