SwarovskiATX Spotting Scope Modular Zoom Eyepiece (Angled Viewing)

I've been a 'glass snob' for years - and it's amazing how fast optics quality has been improving.For now, I've got this paired with the  Swarovski 95mm Modular Objective Lens  - but I plan to add the 65mm lens in the future.At the range, I've been using a  Leupold Mark 4 20-60x80mm Spotting Scope  for a couple of years. That's a pretty good unit; but, it truly doesn't hold a candle to this Swarovski ATX:1) Low-light visibility isn't even comparable. I set up a comparison just after dark and could still pick out quite a bit of detail with the Swarovski. The Leupold, on the other hand, was completely unusable.2) Long distance spotting with the Swarovski is vastly increased over the Leupold. I can see things clearly that I didn't think should be possible.3) The focus and zoom controls on the Swarovski are better than the Leupold. This is probably subjective, but I prefer the Swarovski.4) The eye relief on the Swarovski just seems to pull me in - while the Leupold is more finicky.One thing I didn't realize before purchasing was that this angled spotter can be rotated easily on a tripod. All you need to do is loosen the attachment ring and then rotate the entire unit so the eyepiece angles right or left. That makes it extremely easy to setup in pretty much any condition - including some cases where a straight-through spotter would typically work better.On top of everything else, the modular design is a bonus. This would be worth the cost even without the modular feature - but when I pick up a 65mm objective, I'll actually be coming out ahead.If you're looking for the best spotting scope you can buy - then look no farther than this modular ATX model!

Amazing scope. Pair this w/ the 65mm, 85mm or the 95mm and you are set to go. The ATX design is very ingenious as you can have multiple objectives and just swap the eyepiece. also attaching the TLS APO is easy and you can grab some digiscoped images.It is pricey, but you do get what you pay for and this is the best. Don't forget you will have to buy an objective piece.

This is arguably the best ocular lens for spotting scope out there. The wide angle view and forgiving eye relief is hard to come by. There are other good products as well. But this lens is just so comfortable to look through. You will be able to keep watching behind the lens for a longer time.

Got this to go with my 85 spotting scope. Just love Swarovski optics. I now have 2 rifle scopes and a pair of 10x42 EL range binos to go with this set.
