I got this book to prepare for ISI QE. I am from non eco background prepapring for this exam. Till now, I am loving this book, its explaination and examples. Though I feel, author must have included more questions as exercises.

Content is good if you want more math go to Nicholson . This book has moderate math. Not recommended for math oriented Economics entrance exams like ISI MSQE

It's frill-free and to the point. Use this with his "Workouts" book. Organization across editions seems consistent. This is an excellent 'older' text for students looking to save a few bucks.

I like this microeconomics book. There are difficult ones out there but this one... if you have a bit of understanding in micro.. will surely help you in your class. Good!

This is a cheaper black-and-white, paperback version of the Intermediate Microeconomics: A Modern Approach, 8th ed. textbook. I ordered this book to save money because the other version of this book that is bigger with colored graphs and diagrams inside (and overall more aesthetically pleasing). It was twice the price of this one, and I have to say if you absolutely are tight on money, buy it. But honestly it's really hard to study off of and if I were to do it again, I would have bought the other book (I can sell it back after I'm done using it anyway). It's a lot easier to read.. very nice on the eyes. But this book is a good cost-saving approach.
