The price point may be a red flag to those that think this is a cheap unit. It's actually well made but I would not expect it to last 15-20yrs. I installed this in a 1999 (11/98 manufacture date) Chevy Venture, LS version v6 model. The trouble of getting to an in-tank electric fuel pump is worse than the cost.I Opted to cut the carpet carefully, measure, and cut a 12x11 hole in the floor of the van to access the original pump and if for any reason, to replace the pump in the future in short order.You MUST remove the 2nd and 3rd row seats. You WILL have to cut out a recessed mounting hook/plate to get to the mounting rig. Mine, had a gear looking style SCREW on retainer.You must align the pump to the way the original was placed. Then PUSH DOWN on the new pump and turn the retaining ring clockwise. The pump (original and replacement are spring loaded and compress) - Be careful, you can easily cross thread it.Once replaced and tested, I cut a piece of steel from and old washing machine lid, drilled pilot holes and used 3/8" self tapping sheet metal screws to cover the cut-out. I then used window silicone to seal the edges. I'll post pics and measurements that work on the 97-99 Ventures, etc... ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Price Great Value! *by M***R on Reviewed in the United States on April 22, 2019* The fuel pump was spot-on and met my expectations. After re-wiring my 2000 Chey Venture connector to the new fuel pump wiring harness (color matching). I put everything back into place and the van started up after cyclic the key four times to push new fuel to the injectors. Still running today and that was three month. Again, a good value considering the van is 19 years old and that was the first fuel pump replacement. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Better then expected *by S***N on Reviewed in the United States on December 2, 2019* Have been running the pump for a few weeks and works fine. Had to guess how to with on the new connector, but out of the two different ways I got it right the first time. Had to turn the car on and off a few times to get the pump to prime. Besides that it appears to be working just fine.
