These are great water storage barrels.

Solid Simple Effective
Came back from camping, there it was on my porch. Its a heavy gage one-piece drum. Caps are solid and have fine and wide threads to keep them in the right hole. I filled mine up outside. Washed it out first. Took care of the plastic smell. You can see the level by looking down a hole with light. Easy to see. Ill fill it and check it periodically. Totally confident in this pirxhase and product. Very well-built. A noce addition to the water heater tank and tub bladders.

It seemed people had two issues with this: 1) shipping issues 2) quality control issues. The one I got came out perfect and arrived unharmed.

My husband's choice.
I gave it four stars because we haven't tried the water that's been in it since we bought it. It was my husband's idea to store water for emergencies. I don't know if it's good or not. It sits outside and hasn't frozen and burst. It's hidden behind a lattice panel so looks are not a problem.

Stout 55 Gallon Water Drum
Appears to be high quality. Still need to clean with bleach and fill, but I'm waiting to get a rolling stand before I make it so heavy I can't move it. Arrived in great shape. Will be ordering another one or two.
