It may have SPI, otherwise known as "Dynamic Packet Filtering", but I make no guarantees. N stands for speed 4 times faster than 3G networks. Thank you. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Disappointed with Reliability *by C***K on April 9, 2011* I did a lot of research prior to buying this router. It was extremely easy to set up, and is easy to use. However, once the 14 day trial period for the Network Magic software expired (and I'm not even sure what the trial was for), reliability has become a problem. I've had to use the wizard that came with the router software to reset the router at least 3 times because of connective issues. The range has never changed, so it's not a matter of signal strength being low (signal strength is always excellent). Overall, I'm disappointed with my purchase because I expected reliability.
