I think they failed to read the label which says to remove the battery, wait five seconds, then reinsert the battery. This disables the store-display mode that lets a shopper test the flashlight but then turns it off after 5 seconds. I did remove the battery and the light works perfectly normally.The white light is powerful and the red light is pretty dim. What they call "blue light" is actually ultra-violet (aka black light)β€”the kind that makes white clothing glow brightly. The Blood Tracker means nothing to me since I'm not a hunter. They turn off and a split second later they turn off again. Also true for the option to track blood.... turns off a split second later. I am left with only being able to use the regular flashlight and the blue light, unfortunately. Do love that the flashlight has a magnet on the bottom so it can adhere to anything metal and that the head of the light can pivot so that you can free up your hands while working.
