The positive: Its wood frame is sturdy built, and the idea of it is great, why I purchased it. You don't want to see it, and it is foldable and disappears under a cabinet of your liking. The negative: The plastic "cutter" is flimsy and I fear it will fall out after a few uses. It only cuts plastic wrap when you hold the plastic wrap very tight down, needing one hand, inserting a small blade might be a smarter way to fix this.. Quiet expensive. It has two rolls to accept (apparently nonstandard, will go and purchase some more, as none of my wrapper rolls seem to fit) plastic and probably aluminum foil rolls. I haven't tested the aluminum foil cutting capacity yet as I couldn't find an aluminium roll fitting this. The second set of "wheels" is much smaller than the first, not allowing a snug fit of any roll I have yet encountered, see attached picture. On top of that the aluminum rod is loose and not as tight as the first one, It totally defeats the purpose of a cling wrap if it doesn`t accept standard wraps. Will likely return this unless I find some wrap which fits this. Review: Worth every penny, but should also offer a 3 roll version - This is the best kitchen wrap dispenser I've encountered. My last dispenser was so horrible I was attacking the wraps with scissors rather than mangling it with the blades. Had to do some trimming on the cardboard rolls so the rods and end caps of the dispenser would fit in place. I don't know why my wraps both had center rolls that were wider than the plastic and foil wrap on them, but kitchen scissors fixed that. I requested an unfinished unit, but received an email saying they were sending the light finish which could be stained darker, or painted. It was already shipped when I received the email and upon arrival, I was so happy with the design I decided to try darkening the stain rather than returning it. I added chestnut stain to the honey finish which worked well. In looking at the pictures before ordering, it looked like there was enough space for a third roll at the back, and indeed there is! I use plastic, foil and wax paper, so I ground out a third set of slots, added a dowel rod, and have my wax paper behind the other two rolls. Plastic wrap does best with the end caps included with the dispenser, but wax paper is doing fine on the dowel rod. Wish my slots looked as nice as the other two sets, but it works, and is not seen except when actually flipped down and dispensing. I think the company should consider offering a version with 3 rolls instead of just 2. Other dispensers I've used and seen are mounted on the wall, usually between upper and lower cabinets. This dispenser is easier to reach and to use for short people like me. I don't have to reach all the way over the counter to the back wall to unroll and cut. Easy to work latches drop the dispenser down and forward for more convenient use. As someone else noted, there are latches on each side, so it's a two handed operation to open the dispenser, but latches operate easily (I have arthritis in my hands and have no problem). In fact, I want to buy another one for myself and one for a friend who loves mine. I have MS and my hands are very clumsy, so the crummy rolls kitchen wraps come in do not work for me. This item is like having another pair of hands! Please note: the cutter has not broken or dulled yet for me and I use this several time daily. I did, however, use the end caps from an old dispenser that fell apart, ("Wraptastic", a total waste of money), to place a 200 ft. roll size of plastic wrap into the unit. This is DEFINITELY a big help for me. Plus, I don't have to bend down to get the wrap, because it is always at eye level, under the counter and out of the way.
