Review: Well made, and works great with heavy mics - Was seriously considering the Røde DS2 and decided to try this at roughly 1/3 the price, figuring I’d return it if it turned out to be cheap junk. This mic stand is great! The solid metal material is well finished, the pivot joints operate very well and are tightened with the included Allen wrench to hold a considerably heavy mic. The only thing that isn’t perfect is the lack of large slots for XLR cable management, but the Røde DS2 has the same problem. They include Velcro straps for cable management instead, which are adequate. But I highly recommend this stand - don’t hesitate to buy/try this - it’s really nice.

Was seriously considering the Røde DS2 and decided to try this at roughly 1/3 the price, figuring I’d return it if it turned out to be cheap junk. This mic stand is great! The solid metal material is well finished, the pivot joints operate very well and are tightened with the included Allen wrench to hold a considerably heavy mic. Good item, had to order it twice and return one item (the return was seamless) because the first box I got was missing parts. It also looked like it might have been a prior return that wasn’t checked because the disassembled stand was not fit into the packaging neatly as one would expect. Other than that, has a good weight to it and my mic doesn’t tilt forward
