does this water pump come with gaskets?

Yes, it came with gaskets but I do not recommend this water pump as it only lasted a couple of years so I had to replace it again. I bought a Murray water pump with a 3 year warranty at my local Kragen auto parts store.

I believe the Gates 45005 is the same as NAPA TWP 45005. My experience is they leak after 3-4 years and 60-80K miles. I have done 2 and now need to replace again.
