im 72 years old and installed 4 of these in about 15 minutes, thats how easy they were. they arrived ahead of time well packaged . the only thing i had a little trouble with was snapping the pull tabs onto shades, you really don't need them but i wanted them attached. easy up and down movement also window measurement was right on, as i measured 28 inch width 50 height and they all fit like a glove . would definitely buy these again... oh and also they really block the southern sun like magic.

These blend right into our family room (bought 5), when they're up you don't notice them and when they're down they darken the room (no more glare on the TV during the day!) A great fit and the mechanism works perfectly. Super easy to put up, minutes to install.

So easy to put up - no tools needed. No difficult to install brackets and no drills. Instant blinds -- they stay securely in place in the window and move up and down smoothly. They work just as well as the pricey custom blinds I've had before. I love that they can close either top down and bottom up.

The product arrived and installed fairly easily. I'm impressed by the fact it stays in place with the grippers when I raise/lower them. I was able to order a stock size. They've been up about a week. A friend had bought some recently and gave me information on seller. I was leary because my windows are 58" wide and couldn't imaging it would stay put as I 'top down, bottom up' my blinds each day. They do. They come with the tool to tighten the adjuster. There was no direction on how to apply the 'handles' so I forced them on. You can also maybe slide them on from the ends. They are not completely blackout as I cannot get them to come down the final 1/8" inch or so and there is a crack at the top. That said, it blocks the light that burns all night outside my condo window making my room almost daylight without the shade. A 4 star because I received several notifications about shipping changing the delivery date. My product bounced around the NE of the United States for days, evidently it went USPS which is fine except nothing I received from tracking told me that was the carrier so as I tracked after each update I was confused why a package is still within a couple hundred miles of where it started days before. It was "out for delivery" for about 3 days. My product came in two boxes strapped together, now we all know the post office does fine with packages, this though was about 6" x 6" x 60". It shouldn't have been shipped by the USPS.

Works exactly as described and is very practical and sturdy! Does a great job blocking light and is easy to use. We installed this in our baby’s room and it is strong enough to withhold his constant yanking and pulling. I want to note that the customer service is top notch. I accidentally ordered the wrong size, totally my fault, and they sent me the correct size without charging extra (only for shipping!). Superb product and support!

I have a couple of top down bottom up shades in my home already and while they're not difficult to install, I was excited to find a version that required no drills or screws. But boy, did I ever GOOF UP with the first version of my review. So sorry to anyone who read it. The directions for installing the blind come with directions to install all sorts of other blinds, and I clearly didn't read them correctly. So, when I tried to screw the top plastic part tightly, *I went in the wrong direction*. That made the whole mechanism fall apart, and the blind would NOT stay in the window. The seller reached out to me and let me know that I was probably doing it wrong -- and I was! So today, I put the blind back up and screwed the little plastic piece toward the body of the blind head itself, rather than toward the end of the blind -- and it WORKED. It's counterintuitive, but that's how the mechanism works. THANK YOU to the seller for letting me know that I had made this mistake! Most of the time, I am squeezing in small home projects after a long day, and I know I can get things mixed up when I am tired. That said, the blind is heavy, and it is a blackout blind as well, so when the top and bottom are at the top and bottom, barely any light gets in. That is excellent! The blind seems to be of good quality. Now that I have it secured in my window correctly, I am not afraid it'll fall when I pull it! Now that I know how the blind works, I will probably be ordering more of these for other windows. I am so grateful for the correction and for the blind working well now.

Product was as promised easy to install, top down and bottom up. Had correct measurements. Very durable so far. Good value for the money.
