This is my second towel of this type. The first was received as a gift and I liked it so much I got one for my husband. They dry well, fold down very flatly with much less bulk than a standard towel. They do not hold onto sand, even the fine white powdery sands of our South Carolina beaches! I use it after my shower after Aquafit classes. I have the extra large towel size which easily and securely wraps around my body with plenty of extra material to maintain modesty in the sauna, unlike some others who definitely need larger towels! ;)

I absolutely love this towel! It’s super lightweight and easy to pack, which makes it perfect for the beach or pool. It really does dry quickly, and I love that sand doesn’t stick to it like regular towels. The material feels nice and not bulky at all, but it still works great for drying off. Plus, the colors/design are really cute. Definitely one of my favorite purchases—highly recommend!

Dock & Bay are my favorite pool/beach towels. I have this one as a gift so I don’t have photos of it. My friend loves it! I prefer them to the Turkish style because they dry faster and don’t snag. The fabric is nice and smooth to the touch (not the kind that snags on your fingerprints). Sand really does shake right off of it. I also switched from basic beach towels because the Dock & Bay towels don't wear down or hold onto lint from other fabrics when washed. This towel folds up very compact and it’s my go to type of towel for travel-even smaller than Turkish towels because they don’t wrinkle.

Best towel out there. Dries easily, slim for packing, and don’t take up too much space in pool/lake/beach bag

This print is adorable! Dock and Bay towels are the best, I keep them in my boat bag for easy grabbing because they are compact but still absorbent and dry fast. 10/10 recommend!

When this arrived, I thought it was shrink wrapped because the package was so small. I was wrong. The towel itself is quite large (two people can fit while sitting on it comfortably at the beach) but it’s super thin, and absolutely NOT a towel because it’s NOT absorbent in the least. Sand didn’t stick to it, so if you’re looking for a beach blanket that you’ll only be sitting on, this will work. Don’t expect to be able to dry yourself off using this item. Washed in cold water and it didn’t run, which I was worried about. I don’t know that I’d purchase it again, but I’m mainly not returning it because it’s cheaper than other sand-resistant options and as a beach ground cover it does seem to work.

Unexpected Perk: Have you ever gotten out of the hot tub on a cold day and used a nice soft super absorbent towel only to realize that now its completely soaked and you're freezing. These magical towels wick away the water and help you get dry so you can properly clothe yourself immediately. I thought these would just be our summer beach go to towels but we all kinda wanna use them as our daily towels. I think we own about 5 of these Dock and Bay towels now and we couldn't be happier. Comparison: I love the look and style of the dock and bay when heading down to the beach or when i wanna look all cool in a public space but I also picked up a couple of Wise Owl towels at Big Lots for $5 and have a couple Nomadix Towels from REI. These are hand's down better than the Nomadix that don't come with a bag to carry the towel in. The wise owl towels we purchased came with a small hand towel and the bag is made out of mesh so I feel I can put it away and if it gets put up wet I know it can still air out. When going to the beach the dock and bay canvas style bag is so much better because it helps keep the sand out of the towel. I can throw it down on the beach, run straight into the water, pull my towel out and don't have to worry about sand. The Nomadix and Wise Owl have loops for hanging which is an easy addition that I wish Dock and Bay would put on these towels. Overall, the feel of the Dock and Bay is better than the others and the carry bag has more benefits. The Wise Owl were excellent, especially given their price, and the hand towel is a nice bonus to keep together in the bag. Verdict: These towels are definitely worth the price and whether we are going to shower, the pool, or the beach we always end up reaching for our Dock and Bay Towels. They really are the best we've used

Reeived correct size. Nice colors. Bought the entire collection package as cost per towel was less and can use at several locations without moving them around.
