Will this be too big for a 1st or 2nd grade boy?

Hi. I purchased 2 of these (for a 5th &10 grader) because they look big enough. They are not big at all and I have to return them. The picture makes the item look bigger then it is. Would be a good size for K-2, but beware, a bulky lucnhbox will not fit without stretching out the backpack.

For the steel color, what color is the inside of the bag?

gray, plastic cloth divider, the back is doubled lined. color on outside, gray on the inside.

This backpack shows free shipping on the product page, but does not come up that way in the shopping cart? What is up? Free shipping would good.
