Review: 2 Out of 5 tapes now bad plus Possibly repackaged bulk tapes w/o labels - As an update to my review, after 13 months, 2 of the 5 tapes have now become unusable because of Media Errors. Each tape is used only once a week for an incremental backup. Every couple of months it is erased when full and a fresh full backup is done with incrementals each week after. Not used very much at all in the scheme of things. Look to be new tapes but these were not individually shrink wrapped and did NOT include the labels. It looks like the five unwrapped tapes were generically shrink-wrapped from the seller. This was put into a cut down box. It's a guess, but I assume the seller bought a large bulk order without labels and made them up into 5-packs.
