Good switch, make sure you either install onto wall or have modified plate
Easy to use and install in any 12v system. Good price on a two for one deal as well. The term grounded is ambiguous; hooks directly to positive. Will fit on a wall swimmingly but on a control board you might have to modify/reshape the cover plate if you donโt have a specialized hole inside one. Enjoy the lighting control. Alignment on the slide bar image could use some adjustment but once you get over that it wouldnโt matter. Using to teach DC theory to students.

quality
Building an offgrid 12V cabbin and this works great inconjunction with led lighrt strips. Very nice to be able to dim the lights in the evening. Flush fitment looks nice on the wall as well. Tactile enough to opporate in the dark.

Work great with one minor inconvenience.
Bought these dimmer switches to install in headboard lamps. The originals came with dollar store battery powered puck lamps that looked super tacky for such an expensive bed frame. Tested them out on the COB LED strip before installing and they worked great. The dimmer knob has a smooth resistance and satisfying *click* for on/off. The one star dock: Once I installed and started messing around with it, every once in a while, I'll get a quick millisecond flash of full bright as it continues to dim. Don't know if its a cheap potentiometer with irregular resistance or the PWM chip they use. Either way a minor inconvenience for making the lights much more functional and pretty. Was a fun and simple project! No more batteries to replace and plugged into an outlet tied to a switch on the wall. (Read in another review the modules still pull power even when off. Switch on the wall remedies the wasted energy as small as it may be)

Great Dimmer
We installed these dimmers in our 2026 fifth wheel camper. They are well built and dim the 12 volt LED puck lights and Cob strip lights on the front cap of our camper. There is no humming or flickering. I rarely write reviews but wanted to say these are really good.

Good dimmer with room for improvement
I've used a dozen or so of these on a Skoolie build and overall they've been great. I feel like they are overpriced but there really aren't many suitable alternatives, and these have a nice feel to them when you turn them on or off. The dimming function works well, and the wiring instructions are accurate. I prefer the older mounting plate that the first ones came with, they were metal and didn't have the dimming picture - the new mounting plates are plastic and it seems cheap. I've started making my own mounting plate using steel blank outlet covers and a drill press.
