Great seeds for the price. Came with plenty of seeds which I have already planted and they are starting to grow.

It was my first time trying to grow pumpkins. I prepared the ground, planted the seeds in nice straight rows, watered, tended and watched with much anticipation. These seeds sprouted in days. They grew, they flowered but they did not fruit nor did they spread. Now, I am pretty sure it was the layout I made. I didn't space them properly as I was just looking to see if I could grow them. Which, of course, they technically did. I talked with someone at a local shop and we may have figured out the problem. I am going to try again this year with a different battle plan.

I planted 18 seeds in cow pots that sat 9 to a holder. Then I took them from RI to FL because i was going on a road trip. they all germinated and I kept them on my FL lanai out of direct sun light for 2 weeks. Next they traveled with me to Ohio so I could visit my sister on the way back. They each now have 2 leaves. They relaxed on my sister's back deck 3 days under the umbrella. Back to Ri the car is really packed up - had to make space for some shared perennials from sister including a part of grandmothers peony that has been going for 100 years. Now at home the sprouts have 6 leaves and are planted 2 to a container remaining in their cow pot. Since it is so hot currently in RI they are under shade cloth. These little guys are hardy (BIG storm last night) and I expect great cucumbers in August. They are certainly are up to the task no matter where they go!
