Will this work with the quad lock bike mount?

I dont think so since the diameter is too small. It works perfectly for the Garmin Bike Mount Kit (watches) mounted at the aerobars

Will it fit my profile design air stryke? measures just shy of the 2 3/4 (70mm) required.

You may need to "shimmy" the UCM a tad. The only problem I foresee is that you may incur a slight bend which could change the original calibration of the structural integrity of the Stryke. Having said that, the UCM is a fine after-market addition, but the "connecting-unit" band should rest on your aerobars, thus supporting whatever electronic you wish to use: if this band is compromised by having to both carry the load, in addition to the stress of being "stretched" right and left, this will probably lead to failure over the long haul. I sympathize completely, once you have decided on something to use on your bicycle, and it works for you, for we are a stubborn lot in this life, any addition may change the way your bike rides for you. And while Profile does make some very fine products, even spending the amount requested for the UCM, and then having it break on you, knock-knock, on a ride, thus damaging your electronics and your UCM, would be most unfortunate. You may have to compromise with zip ties. I hope this was of some help to you, and wish you all the best with your cycling and your life.

How wide is this from outside edge to outside edge? My aero bars are pretty narrow near the shifters where I would like to mount it.

While this is adjustable, it may still not be wide enough to fit your aerobars. I purchased it and it would not span the gap on my bike.

Will this fit a Garmin edge 500 ?

no sure...i use it for a Garmin 405...it's more of a watch type design. The 500 looks pretty flat, will matter on how it connects on the back of the device. The bridge is universal and can work with many different types of watches and GPS devices. The biggest thing is being able to strap the mount to it.

DHバーへのサイクルメーター取り付けに色々物色していた中で、コストパフォーマンスに惹かれて購入。なかなか、良さそうです。取り付けも簡単ですが、私のDHバーの径が太い？為かボルトの長さが短くて、ナットにとどかず、ホームセンターで、少し長めのボルトを買って取付。

自分のDHバー(DEDA)に合うアタッチメントはなく、幅も狭く、何とかつけようといろいろ試みたところ壊れました。他社のDHバーには対応しないとか、DHバーの対応幅を記載しておいてほしいと思います。

Lo he comprado para poder llevar mi reloj Garmin en los acoples y va muy bien. Se puede ajustar de manera que se adapta a distintos grosores de acoples y no se mueve nada. Es caro para lo que es pero es recomendable!
