The Antarctica brand...a triumph of brand! Cold, compact and perfect for a dorm room, garage, man cave, she shed, or what have you. Some refrigerator items will darn near freeze if kept in the back of this thing. Beer stays cold, Stouffer frozen French Bread pizzas stay ready and quiet. The daughter took mine to college where many magnets now adorn it.

I absolutely love this Antarctic Star mini fridge! It has a very compact design that fits perfectly in my space without taking up too much room. Best of all, it runs super quiet—you barely even notice it's on. Highly recommended!

Great little fridge. Bought as a back-up (waiting on parts for main fridge), and it lives in my office/family room. Holds quite a bit for snacks and drinks, freezer is large enough for ice cube trays and a few pints of icecream.

Solid, good size mini fridge. Color and appearance true to picture. Plenty of storage for its size. Great fit for my home office.

The unit arrived in good shape, the box and packing a bit worse for wear. In particular, there are a number of flat Styrofoam slabs that were completely cracked in half, indicating that a more flexible variant, that could function against more than one impact, might be a good idea. Once unpacked, and untaped (LOTS of tape used to hold bits in place) it becomes evident that the plastic film used to protect the exterior surfaces might have an off-label use as spacecraft heat shield components. It it *extremely* resistant to removal. On the plus side, the finishes ARE in good nick. The unit cools rapidly, and the storage spaces are well done. Bear in mind that HALF gallons of drinks are all you'll ever fit here. I wish the thermostat had more than 3 settings. That seems needlessly limiting. The only quibble I really have, operationally, is that it is louder than I was hoping for. As a 'dorm' type of fridge unit, I would find sleeping next to this to be quite difficult, there is a notable throbbing hum while the compressor is operating, and a notable thump when the relay activates. I'll be keeping it, just locating it away from my office/media space. Last quibble: the hinge design causes a bit of felt friction when the door is at the "almost closed" position. Rather a surprising defect for an otherwise nice design. I'll be keeping an eye out for wear issues.

Dios mío que error cometido, , esta es la tercera que compro supuestamente la anterior era electacti, y esta es Antártida, supuestamente de diferente fabricante, pero puedo creer que es de la misma casa porque es la misma nevera con el mismo defecto, o peor, me llegó ayer como a las tres de la tarde la conecté a las 7:30, pero esta nevera tiene un zumbido, un ruido, que por momento se convierte en un pitido muy molestoso para el oído y para uno poder dormir, si la coloca en la habitación que es mi caso ya podrías imaginarte la molestia que siente toda la noche, igual que la anterior se llena de hielo y escarcha en toda la parte trasera del refrigerador. Cuando se supone que abajo es para enfriar, no para congelar también me amanecieron los huevos , la fresa y un quesito congelado, lo siento mucho por las personas que le han dado Bueno 🙏🏻♥️🙏🏻 Review y sólo una persona se quejó de lo mismo que yo estoy viviendo, es lamentable que en el mercado existan cosas como esta para vender al público, en definitiva, esa nevera China tienen ese problema y no cualquier persona se va a adaptar a dar su dinero para pasarse todo el tiempo con un ruido y secando un un chorro de agua que siempre tiene en el plato donde está el cajoncito y si tú no la seca sale hacia afuera y chorrea por todo el piso. Qué frustración tan grande tengo creo no vuelvo a comprar nevera por Amazon.
