Im deathly afraid of the dentist (bad experiences) and I had some tartar build up on the back of my bottom teeth. I was having severe anxiety thinking I was going to have to go for a scaling, find out how bad my teeth are and that they all need to come out and I'll be thousands in debt (these are my irrational fears). I bought this tooth paste as a last ditch effort to put off the dentist longer (not good practice i know) I have used this ONCE and there was a noticeable difference. Like 65% gone in one brushing for me, just breaking off in giant pieces!!! (Gross I know). Its the most amazing thing ive ever seen- I was expecting weeks not instant results. I immediately bragged to friends and came to write this review. Hopefully it continues to work the next few weeks and I dont have to update my review- for nowall I have to say is BUY IT!

I tried it for a few months before leaving a review to see if it would work as advertised. While it does not noticeably remove any pre-existing tartar, I do think it helps not to form more. I have always hated sweet, foamy toothpastes. I like how this has a mild minty, unsweetened flavor that doesn’t overpower your mouth. It also cleans well and doesn’t foam. I do feel like it gets my teeth cleaner than my previous toothpastes, both because it works well and because I am more willing to use it. I actually look forward to brushing my teeth now and brush more frequently. I use this with an unsweetened mouth wash and I love the clean feeling and fresh smell without leaving a strong artificial minty taste in my mouth forever. Does it dissolve tartar? No but I didn’t really expect it to. Go get a proper cleaning for that and start with a clean slate. Will it help you reduce tartar build up and possibly the frequency of professional cleanings needed? I believe so. I plan to keep using it. Oh and it lasts a long time too.

Wasn’t impressed and tasted horrible

I did not think a toothpaste could impress me, I was so wrong. Worth the price and then some.

This tastes like fertilizer! My teeth don't feel smooth and clean after brushing with this either. My hygienist pushed me to try it so I finally bought it, even though the price is way too high. I just can't get myself to use it. I wish I had looked into it sooner because it's too late to return it now.
