**Q: Could this be used for kitchen knives?**
A: No I don't think this would work well for kitchen knives. Some pockets are smaller than others.

**Q: Would this work to hold Pfiel and UJ ramelson palm carving tools?**
A: This is pretty big, I use it to store my jewelry files and keep their edges sharp and it work great for that. It is too big for my needle files if that helps.

**Q: Does it have link thus make it not good for small condensor mics and pre amps?**
A: Even not knowing the exact size of your electronic devices I would say no.  The pouches can handle small tools, knives, etc., but not bigger stuff.  Great product, though!

I have travelled the world doing various jobs and have always wanted to get a quality leather roll up for tools. I do wood carving and I have always wanted to take my nice tools and carry them in my mountainsmith pack and have them so I could hike, carve, hike etc. Problem is, if you have sharp tools they will cut your bags to shreds. I had actually given up ever finding such a bag and wasn’t going to carry a hard case. I just got this leather roll and the craftsmanship is so clear and the stitching so well done I was actually smiling at having found a great bag to permanently add to my kit. The leather not only looks great it feels way more sturdy than anything I have ever used commercially before. They offer a 101 year warranty. I doubt they get too many takers on this product. If you are looking for “that roll up” bag, the one you always wanted that not only was functional, but well made and looked good look no further. I would buy ANYTHING made by this company sight unseen and will be adding to my collection of their bags and other goods soon. I, for the record, bought my bag at full price, have never been in contact with this company and wrote this review because I was stunned by the quality of this bag. (Finally I must add, I lived in Mexico for a few years in an area known for leatherwork - Colima - and this bag puts everything I ever saw there to shame, even a custom one I had made….) I will call this the best item I have purchased on amazon in years, if not ever.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Heavy Duty Big Tool Rollup bag

I bought this tool roll along with a few others to see if my set of Record Power Carving Chisels would fit. These chisels have handles that have a max diameter of 1 1/8 inches. Unfortunately, these chisels won't fit in this particular tool roll, but the carving chisels I own that have traditional octagonal handles do fit. So perhaps I will move them from their cloth rolls to this one.That all being said, these tool rolls are VERY well made. The leather is top notch and the stitching/riveting is very well done. These are definitely lifetime tool rolls. Whatever they are used for will be well protected.

I must’ve looked through countless similar products out there. I’m not sure what the other ones are like butI am really glad I went with this one. The quality of the leather is just top notch. It feels soft and strong and feels excellent to the touch. I bought this for my set of very high-end Narex Richter chisels. And it’s everything I hoped it would be. My chisels all fit in their perfectly, and it all feels so high-end that it will encourage me to take good care of these tools, which should last a lifetime.
