The (B)M382 is the gallon size, the (B)M380 is the quart size.

Will this attract the green head horsefly, the bane of pools & beaches?

I have 4 dogs so we a lot of flys and it works well. Yes, I believe they will attract the green head flys , wherever there are fly’s , it will attract.

How much area or square footage does one jar cover?

I don’t know the square footage, but what I have noticed it depends how far the smell of the powder goes, few feet away from the trap, the more flies it traps the stronger the smell that lures them in.

Does this work for fruit flies?

I didn’t have much luck with indoor flies at all. Worked well in the garage though. Smells horrible wherever you put it.
