Review: They look nice, work well, and are a name brand. - I've got two sets of them - one for each guitar. I have a Gibson Les Paul and an Ovation electric/acoustic. Works great for me. Adds a little "bling" to the strap. Quick and easy to attach and remove. I have confidence that my guitars are secure with them. These strap locks are low profile, something that may be important if your guitar and its case are a tight fit. OR, if you're shopping for a guitar case, you're going to want a low profile design like these have. Otherwise, strap locks might not fit or they might damage the inside of the case. Are these actually real gold??? These seem to be a bit pricey to me. That factor never stops me, because I insist on quality, so I'm always willing to pay more, but I was gnashing my teeth while I was ordering them, from the time I got out the credit card until the order was completed.

You can also still use any strap without the Dunlop strap system. They lock in solid and give a lot of peace of mind, especially with heavier guitars. I honestly couldn’t tell you how many times they’ve saved one of my guitars from hitting the floor, but I’m sure it’s been dozens over the years. They’re one of those products you install once and never really think about again because they just work. For me they’ve become standard equipment on every guitar I own.

**Q: Whats the black white red blue option?**
A: I have a red strap, so it wouldn't be 'crazy' to get red strap locks. I would also get washers for the strap too.

**Q: What is the difference between these, sls1033, and the sls1503? pics & description are very similar.**
A: The 1503 may be a discontinued item.  I don't find it on the Dunlop site any longer and I don't have one in stock.  Having said that, they are known to have some issues with the website from time to time.

**Q: Can the strap-side assembly be purchased separately anywhere? My instrument already has the Dunlop buttons installed on the body.**
A: On Dunlop's website they list strap buttons but not just the locking mechanism.  To obtain extra locking mechanisms, you must buy the complete sets which consist of 2 strap locking mechanisms and 2 strap buttons.

**Q: Will these fit on my Schecter C-1 classic and Hellraiser without drilling?**
