Great alternative to helmet and goggles
Great ski helmet, I have now used this for two separate week long skiing holidays. It can be a little tight getting on to your head as the side protection area is designed to cup over your ears, but just bend them outwards to ease it on. Once on, it is a great fit once adjusted, snug but very comfortable, and the chin strap is well padded, a with a quick release Latch. The visor is the main benefit as it is really well designed, and never suffers from fogging even on the coldest days. Overall, it completely beats using a separate helmet and goggles, and being so easy to just raise or lower while still skiing makes it an obvious choice really, I just wish I had got this years ago, and I highly recommend it. Incidentally, it comes supplied with a dark and yellow tinted visor, so you are covered for all conditions, and change out is quick and easy. So far, I’ve only used the yellow tinted visor, which is still unmarked after taking a fair battering over it’s 12 days of use and transport, so I expect it withstand a lot of abuse before needing replacement.

Comfortable protection
Lightweight, comfortable, protective, warm. Two visors - mirrored for sun, yellow for fog. Easy to fasten and unfasten.

Can't go wrong with this helmet
Just received this helmet, and I have to say, it's a really nice headgear. Seems well-built, and quite comfortable to wear. Chin strap fits nicely, while the adjustment knob on the back gives the helmet a good snug fit. Air vent opens and shut with a quick slide on the top. It came with 2 visors. The dark UV visor (it has a reflective coating, not just plain UV dark) for sunny days is pre-installed, while the yellow visor for cloudy days comes wrapped in foam tissue inside a plastic zip bag. Based on previous reviews regarding the gap on the top of the visor letting snow in, Bolle may have addressed that issue. Both of my visors came with foam tape lining the inner top edge of the visor. When the visor is down, the foam liner seals the gap between helmet and visor. Visors are easily interchanged by unscrewing the round knob. Helmet comes with a soft bag. Overall, it was a good, sound purchase.

Great helmet - visor could be better sealed
I have just come back from 7 days using this helmet in a range of weather conditions. the helmet fits well and is warm and comfortable - air vents were only just adequate at warm air temperatures (around 5/6 degrees C). My helmet came with Grey and yellow visor. Simple to change. Yellow was great in cloudy conditions, and the dark visor was good in sun. Built in visor allows for excellent peripheral vision and it never steamed up. Only complaint is that the visor has no seal around the top edge. This meant that when it was snowing, or when there was wind blown snow, it frequently got in behind the visor, obstructing vision, and required removing the helmet to clean. I will be buying some adhesive backed foam tape to stick to the visors top edge which should seal against the helmet and stop this happening.

Fabulous ski helmet
This is a really good quality ski helmet and it comes with two visors so that you can ski in the Sun and low light. I wasn’t sure how I get on with something coming down like this over my face having been used to wearing goggles or sunglasses. I’m happy to report that I love this helmet and the fact that I don’t have to fiddle around when I want to remove device, all I have to do is push it up much prefer this to goggles or sunglasses. The helmet is really comfortable and stylish.

Serious snow gets in the sides of the visor.
Great helmet BUT only you always ski on sunny days and pisted slopes. The gaps in the sides of the visor provides good ventilation but let snow into your eyes in even a light breeze. Also if you fall over in powder... be prepared to have to empty out the visor and dry it again. You'll have no visibility through the visor until you do. Next helmet I buy will be with goggles.

Well worth the plunge - if you're a glasses wearer!
Used this for the first time @ Whistler - Canada over the December '15 / January '16 holiday. Thought i'd share my thoughts regarding the helmet in the hopes it will help you when making your own decision on whether or not to purchase this or something similar :) My head size is 59 - for those wondering what size to get for your noggin - never choose a helmet that is, say, 56 - 59 if your head size is 59. You will regret it. Always go one size up. A. with the click to fit system you can easily adjust the fit to sit snugly on your noggin, and B. for those cold days when you need to wrap your snood around your head (or wear a full hoodie) the extra space of the helmet will definitely help you, where-as your head would already be hurting if you'd not super-sized your helmet! Thankfully though i didn't have this problem with Bolle since my noggin size fell into the 59 - 61 category. The helmet itself is relatively soft and comfortable for its price. I've tried on more comfortable helmets to be honest, with a premium price tag to go along with it. But for the price of this helmet i was happy enough. The ear pads are lovely and soft. It's worth noting that the entire time i wore the helmet i didn't use the chin strap. I hate the feeling of straps under my chin. I mention this only because never once did it fall off.. even during my more entertaining wipe-outs in the snow park! As a glasses wearer (and of the slightly large nerd variety) this helmet allows me to wear them in absolute comfort. I had no problems with general fogging of my glasses either. I found this only tended to happen when i had my snood pulled up over my head and nose (so my hot breath leaking into the visor) or when i tried to cover the gaps (but more on this later!) The two Visor choices are a must, and a fantastic addition by Bolle! My advice: never purchase a helmet if they don't include a low visibility visor. That's a deal-breaker right there. Think i'm being over dramatic? Wait til the first time you use it - you will be nodding your head with a stupid grin on your face, marveling at the clarity and brightness.. going; 'that crazy fool on amazon was damn right! this visor is awesome!!' On clear (non snowing) days this helmet deserves a 7 out of 5. The padding on the visor sits perfectly over the bridge of your nose. It's a combination of ventilated plastic and soft padding that sticks out a centimeter and a half to two centimeters, and seals along the bridge of the nose and cheek bones all the way along the rubber that is visible from the outside (as a visual reference to you if you look at the picture again). There is a padded seal at the top of the visor as well that does a good job of sealing itself when the visor is fully down. Having a full unobstructed view of everything around you is worth the price of this helmet alone! Not having the pressure of goggles pressing against your face is even better. Trust me when i say - It. Is. Great. The helmet does not move around when you snowboard (i assume skiing would have the same result), and the vents do a great job at cooling (open) or retaining heat (closed). The temps dropped to - 15 degrees on some days - so the vents definitely did its job well ;) Snowy conditions is where the visor option falls somewhat short of its 5 star rating. Because it does not completely seal around your face snow will get into the visor and will require a quick cleaning every now and then. Taping up the gaps works - but produces the problem of steaming and fogging of the glasses - which is just swapping one set of problems for another. I did have my goggles to hand, but to be honest i never got frustrated enough to take the visor off and use them. It also only snowed for about 4 days. Aside from that one negative there's just far too many positives to having a visor helmet (personally) to not give it 5 stars. I am very happy i took the plunge. The range of visibility, the freedom of not having goggles pressed around your eyes, and the low vis visor for those overcast days are a no brainer. Ps. i went the blue and black. My friend went for the white. Both looked really good, though personally we both liked the blue visor of my helmet over the grey of his :)

Léger, confortable, un casque idéal que j'utilise pour faire de la trotinette. La visière est efficace, jolie et peu fragile. Ma femme l'a essayé, elle en veut un pour elle. Je recommande ce produit de qualité. Bollé est une excellente marque. 👍

I recently purchased a helmet that fits my head like a glove, and I couldn't be happier with it. The design ensures that it provides a snug yet comfortable fit without creating any pressure points, which is often an issue I've faced with other helmets. Additionally, I appreciate that it maintains a comfortable temperature—it's not too cold, making it ideal for various weather conditions. Overall, the helmet meets all my needs and expectations, providing both safety and comfort. I am genuinely satisfied with my purchase.

Fits like a glove, and has not fogged up at all. MUCH more comfortable than having to wear goggles. I wear glasses, and have had no problems at all.
