Extremely good, beats the 'big brands'!
I just had to review this as I'm thinking about buying a 2nd one. This thing is LIGHTNING FAST and well worth the money! I have loved mine now for a couple months, and it is probably the fastest SSD I have in a large array of USB external SSDs. Outperforms all the 'well-known' brands imo, whenever I have to install large games or files I choose this drive. Love this thing! Just wish the prices of 8TBs in general would be lower. Still, that's a ton of storage and still a good deal when you need that bang for your buck in terms of space and speed, this thing ROCKS!

Samsung and Delilah
I had previously bought and reviewed an 8 TB $500 drive from Samsung which proved too slow, buffering before writing. This new drive is smaller and much faster - no buffering delays. I'm returning the Samsung one

FAILED IN ONE WEEK LOST ALL FOOTAGE
SSD 8TB drive completely failed after one week of use, I lost all of my video footage, it will no longer mount, I tried multiple computers, including MAC OS and Windows, it power locks my PC and I have to hard reboot, on the MAC it will not mount at all, the company web site has no way to reach a human being, there is no phone number, only a physical address, stay away from this company, these are made in Vietnam and China and the local US company is likely just a distributor
