Especially if you have to do it yourself, one handed. To make matters worse, the water pack doesn’t get below 32 F (0 C), and it warms up in about 10-15 minutes. Review: Easy to adjust to a person's knee and holds on well - I have used IceSleeve branded wraps for a few years for both knee and shoulder issues. They've worked well. Unfortunately, the material has worn out one the knee version (no longer holds) and the knee sleeve needed replaced. IceSleeve markets independently, not on desertcart so I looked for something similar and found this. It works well with my IceSleeve cold packs as well as the pack supplied. It is easy to adjust such that it holds well on my knee giving me relief for my meniscus injury. The material that the Velcro attaches to seems a bit more robust than what my previous IceSleeve was made from so I'm hoping for a several years of use before the Velcro attachment system wears out. I will also comment that if you expect these to hold their position when you walk around, you may be disappointed. The taper of your leg going from larger to smaller just sets you up for these falling down when you walk around. My old IceSleeve was the same way. They may not be the exact width but I just put two of them in side by side. Works great! **Q: How big does the knee brace go?** A: It is not very big. I think it is undersized for larger people. My thigh is 19" and the small side will not fit properly. I just barely connects and It fell off and I used the small size on my thigh. I then reversed it and found out about the fact that one strap side is smaller than the other. Not sure why and why they made the straps so short. ONLY thing that should be noted is that you can not walk around when wearing these. You need to just sit down or lay down and use them. they fit nice and snug which is good. keeps the cold pack against your skin, but if you try to walk in them you will ruin the Velcro.
