how do I open the bottle?

There is a small cap at the top that's hinged. Use your thumb to pop the small top cap up. To close, snap it back down.. But first, I tap the bottle on the table to lossen contents inside.

What is the expiration date ?

Mine does not have an expiration date. but I have had mine open for about a year now. I sprinkle this on raw apples and have not noticed a taste difference from when I opened the bottle.
