Short term review: The sticks are easy to replace/install if you have the right tools. So make sure you have that before ordering. They are working as promise so far (a week of use) and the quality seems good. If they last long term as promise, remains to be seen.

• Every part of these are the same size as OEM including the shape of the stalks. This means you can reinstall the OEM thumbstick grips, which are more tactile than these replacements. • The functionality of this part is identical to OEM including the press-to-click option • The resistance of this part is identical to OEM which is good news--this was such an involved project that I only ended up replacing the left thumbstick that had drift rather than proactively replacing the second one while the case was open. • The calibration was slightly off out-of-the-box but easily fixed using the Nintendo Switch Controller calibration tool in the Switch settings • This kit will not save you much money over a new controller if you don't already have a full soldering kit as well as a micro screwdriver set. • This isn't a quick dab-dab-done project; you will need a soldering wick, copious amounts of flux and a couple of hours to disassemble the controller, unsolder over a dozen points of contact, clean, and re-solder. I don't have much experience soldering but I do have a kit so I bought this as an "experience" project knowing that I could absolutely brick my controller and end up needing to buy a new one anyway. After disassembly it took a while to find the right system for removing the old solder. You really need to get the contacts wet with flux and use the wick to absorb it. You need to get ALL of the solder out before the joysticks can begin to be pried off the board. The flux also leaves a thick, gooey residue that takes a while to clean off with isopropyl alcohol. So far I'm really happy with the end result. I'm a week of gaming in and I can not tell the difference between the left (new) and right (OEM) joysticks. Most importantly, I'm now drift-free! Side note: I don't like clowns and I'm not a carnie so I don't know why they added circus thumbstick toppers to the kit. They're weird and I don't like them but the great thing is that you don't have to use them. I still give the kit 5 stars.

This is compatible with the SwitchPro controller only - Not for JoyCons. I was a little concerned because Amazon flagged this item as frequently returned. I'm not sure why. NOTE: This item requires soldering! You need to remove to old analog sticks and solder in the new ones. This takes a bit of skill but the Switch Pro controller with the larger pads is about the most forgiving controller between PS5 / Xbox / SwitchPro. TMR is super precise, low power and drift proof. With the inclusion of the KK thumb sticks if your thumb pads wear out it should be a pretty easy swap and you can choose a height that is comfortable for your grip style. I highly recommend a desoldering station for this work, I removed and replaced both sticks in about 30-45 mins, that would not be possible with a manual method. Sticks have excellent return to center strength typical of Gulikit.
