Is this glue acid free ?

It is not a strict PVA glue. Elmer's glue is a PVA based glue. I think it depends on your project/use if this is the right glue to use.

Is it normal for the gallon to come without a seal?

Great Value for Money

This is A LOT of white glue but if you have a crafty kid or toddler you’ll easily use this up. Make sure it stays tightly closed and it should last forever! I pour a little into an empty yogurt container and let my toddler dip a paintbrush into it. Name brand glue, extra strong and a great price for the amount. Way batter than discount store brand
