Came with a fake wooden top not flexispot brand also wasnt 1inch thick as advertised, with no pre cut holes and also very delicate, just screwing it created a hole on the other side..

Even moved it while assembled with zero issues. Also if you're ambitious enough you can install it by yourself.

I have only owned this for one day so may adjust my rating later. I would give this desk 4 stars, but the color is awful. I bought the mahogany version, but it is VERY orange, especially in the light. I would return it because of the color, but it's too heavy, and I needed the desk now. Aside from this major detractor my assessment is: 5 stars for packing: The corners of the table top were well protected with heavy-duty plastic guards, and the top and bottom were protected with a thick, foam sheet. Each piece of the frame was carefully wrapped with plenty of padding. 4 stars for frame: It's solid, but the feet are rather flimsy, plastic discs that I wouldn't trust not to scratch my floors. 4 stars for lifting mechanism: It moves smoothly, but there is a plastic nut you have to tighten that scuffed easily and feels like it would break if I turn it very hard. 3 stars for assembly: It was easy to put together, except where the customer has to drill their own holes. This is supposed to be a whole product, but the tabletop is shipped separately, and apparently a few of the holes aren't pre-drilled so it can be used with some other frame. That defeats the point of buying it as a whole unit and puts customers in a bind to have a drill, the right size of a drill bit, and the ability to drill evenly without drilling too deeply. I ended up leaving off the side hooks rather than drill the holes for them. The other spot where the customer has to drill is in the middle where the where the support frame can be stretched to fit different sized desktops. Also, I did step 6 before step 5. It makes much more sense to screw down the sides of the support frame so the width of the frame is precise BEFORE tightening the extending arm. If you tighten the extending arm but were over or under for the width, then you have to loosen it, adjust, and retighten again. When I saw that this desk requires two persons to assemble, I panicked for a minute. I am a small person who can't lift more than 30 pounds. However, I didn't have help and, as noted above, needed the desk now. So I tackled it solo. With a little advanced planning, I was able to put this together and stand it up entirely by myself without issue. I opened up and used the tabletop box as an assembly space to protect my floor, and through a walk/push/pull maneuver, flipped pieces upright where needed. That said, the frame is very heavy, and the desktop is very heavy. I feel like this desk is solid, and if I had gotten black, or even better -- if the color were a red mahogany rather than orange, this would be a 4 star desk.

Just received my mahogany desk (48x30) and it is quite nice. Both boxes were delivered together and there was no damage. The best part is the desk top is 1 solid piece! It was quick to assemble and once assembly was completed it worked beautifully and it looks great. Feels very durable and solid as well. The reason I didn’t give it 5-stars was because the desk top came missing pre-drilled holes for the underside cross bar to be fully secured underneath in the middle of the desk top. The desk top is also missing pre-drilled holes needed to attach the two hooks on both sides of the desk top. Other than those two flaws I am very happy with the purchase.

I’ve been using the desk for one week now and it works great. I’m learning to work standing up and doing exercises to help with my lower back pain. The top is a heavy, thick wood that feels very sturdy. It was easy to assemble.

I've used high-end electric desks at work, and since you typically get what you pay for, I was a bit wary of buying one for home that was so relatively inexpensive. But overall the reviews were positive enough (especially regarding customer service) and there were some good tips regarding assembly, so I figured it was worth the risk. Both boxes arrived with the contents in perfect condition: the boxes used very thick, heavy cardboard, and the corner protectors on the desktop were made of a very dense rubber. I've unpacked a lot of furniture (assembling desks for classrooms and computer labs), and the packaging for this desk puts many so-called "commercial" products to shame. Any damage that might occur would be due to careless shipping and handling - not how the factory packed it. Assembling the desk was straightforward enough, although I've put together enough of this sort of furniture over the years that there weren't any surprises. Just take your time, follow the steps, and you'll be fine. This can be assembled by one person, but a second set of hands will make things easier. All of the pre-drilled holes lined up where they were supposed to. One assembly tip: line up one of the end holes in a leg with its corresponding hole in the desktop, and drop a thin nail into the hole to give it something to pivot around. Then with that hole aligned, line up each of the other holes, again dropping a thin nail into each one until they're all aligned. Then drive the screws, replacing each nail, one at a time. No guesswork, no misaligned screws, no do-overs. The only two pilot holes I had to add were for the center crossbar, so you will need a drill and a small bit (a hand drill or pin vise would work for this). For driving all of the screws I used a hand screwdriver, so I wouldn't run the risk of stripping out the particle board. Everything went together very nicely. There were no stripped threads or alignment issues. Overall, I felt the quality of the desk and and the fit and finish of the parts were excellent and exceeded my expectations. The motor operates pretty quietly, and raises and lowers the desk just fine, even with a bunch of stuff piled on top of it (I don't plan on testing what its limits are - it holds what I need). I had an error message pop up on the controller once when I attempted to recall a saved height, but unplugging the desk from power and reconnecting it resolved that. No issues since. The desk is solid and stable. At its higher settings it will sway a little bit when leaned on, but that's just physics at work - if you need something that's really solid at full height, get something with four legs instead of two. The only (minor) gripe that I have is that the cords could be a bit longer: the one for the control panel so you could reposition it if you needed to; and the power cord which barely reaches the width of the desk. I'm very pleased with this purchase. It met my budget, and exceeded my expectations. It's a good-looking, solid, quality desk. Hopefully it'll hold up over time - but so far, so good!
