Pace Nacho Cheese Sauce Mild 10oz Tin

I used to buy this sauce a couple of years ago and it had a little bit of a weird jelly like consistency in the can that might have been a little unpleasant for some, then once heated it became a bit on the runny side - but the flavor was good enough for what I used it for that I didn’t dislike it. I recently got on a bit of a Mexican food kick and decided to buy a can and realized they have leveled up since I last tried it! The cans I received noted a now cheesier recipe and it’s much more like what I hoped it would be the first time I tried it! Very typical movie theater/sports venue like texture straight from the can and stays much creamier when heated than before - the flavor is also more like these familiar type cheese sauces. It does have a slightly more spicy flavor than I would expect in a mild cheese, but nothing crazy. If you see reviews here that say it has a weird texture in the can or gets runny when heated, give it the benefit of the doubt that it’s better now as long as you get one of the newer cans!

yes, it's processed food and not the healthiest option BUT if you understand it's a once in a while treat it's a good option for the price point. Even the mild flavor had some heat, overall a good purchase. This is a good pantry stable item that you can use on those days that you have some of this and that in the fridge along with some tortilla chips and some leftover wraps and can make quick dinner.
